  1. You don't need a passport when traveling by land / sea ~'till june 2009~ u need a Government issued photo ID and birth certificate but you need a valid passport when traveling by air :)


  2. If you are a US citizen driving into Canada you need a government issued photo ID such as your driver's license and your birth certificate as proof of citizenship.  Probably by summer 2009 you will need a passport.  You need a passport now if you are flying.

  3. Passports are not needed to travel by LAND between U.S. and Canada.  See site below for current info.  You will need a photo I.D. and proof of citizenship...EITHER a passport OR a birth certificate.

  4. If you enter Canada from the US, you need a passport.
