  1. " Nope"

  2. did any 1 watch the fith element? dat a mad look on it.but i dont belive it will happen in our life time.

  3. No, with the idiots we have on the road now it's bad enough. Can you imagine pieces coming out of the sky to endanger folks on the ground?

  4. It will never happen, and there are two major reasons:

    1.  The technical requirements for airplanes and automobiles conflict.  An airplane must be as light as possible, while an automobile must be heavy enough to be stable on the road.  The controls must meet conflicting requirements.  An engine that works well in an airplane will overheat in a car, but the engine that works well in a car will be too heavy for an airplane.

    2.  The requirements for training and demonstrated skill for flying an aerial vehicle are beyond the ability of the majority of people, so there will never be a mass market appeal for a flying thingamajig in every driveway.

For these and other reasons, it just isn't going to happen.  Somebody tries it once in a while, but then you never hear from them again.

    Sorry.  No future in it.

  5. No.

    No.

    No.

  6. dear god no but it would be extremly cool to own 1 but i think the major no no is the safety risk you get police chases on the road now imagine that in the air!!!

  7. We won't live long enough to see it!

  8. No way. First the safety aspect will make the FAA/CAA block anything like that and regulate the heck out of it. The cost will be far above that of any road car so it would only be for the rich. And finally the soaring cost of fuel will kill any sort of economics.

  9. Nope.

  10. I do not think you will see this happen. As it is now there is so much air traffic that the air control system can barely keep up with what is in the air. Can you just imagine the chaos with millions of people flying around in their flying cars? It would be a horrendous nightmare trying to keep collisions from happening.

  11. Not sure if it will be available for the masses anytime soon, but here is a group at MIT that is currently building a flying car right now. Its a pretty cool site,so hope you enjoy it!

  12. i find the whole magna track thing more realistic

trains have been using the system for years

with some clever computer upgrades and programing it is very possible

the tracks could be installed flush on exstisting roads as one set was used to repel the vechical floating it and powering it in the process another set of tracks whould restraine/control the direction of the vechical

seems a lot better then mid air accidents and conjestion
