i notice 123, and i have an explanation for this. The mind works a lot through association, and if you have either a number that means something to you or else a simple number you find interesting, then it will stick out to you. You probably see thousands of other numbers each day, so the chances that you see 444 is very likely, and you have chosen that number without realizing it, so it sticks out to you every time.
