diplomacy is usually the best policy,also it sometimes keeps me from getting a black eye but not always lol

If by tiptoeing you mean giving the matter a long serious look, then my answer is yes.  There are instances when fast and furious reaction will only lead to worse situations.  I'd rather bide my time (tiptoe) than dive right into the frying pan with my hurried comments.

No, it depends on what the issue is about. If I can add my dime or 2 cents that may give a better insight or just to show my point of view from a different angle, I would not tiptoe around the sensitive issue.

I enjoy talking about sensitive issues because I can usually learn from other people through their experiences.

If I don't have too much knowledge of the matter, I will be quiet or less vocal.
