First of all I do not want to sound self rightous. I am not perfect and have had a life full of mistakes, which is why I am even questioning this. I have recently come in contact with a couple of families that I enjoy hanging out with, but once I heard their backgrounds I started questioning what I should do with these relationships. The first is a woman, whom I really like, but she is married to the man she had an affair with and tore him away from his wife and 3 children only to make 2 more kids and now they live in his other families home. The other is another woman that seems great, but she left her 3 kids to move in with her younger man and now they have a daughter that they treat considerably different than her other children. I don't know where I draw the line. I like them. I don't like what they did. However, I didn't know them when this happened. I'm sure if people knew me before I got my life together they wouldn't like me (although not the same type of circumstances). How do you choose friends, morally? This is tearing at me. Thanks for any help you can give.
