Do you own a 2008/2009 Jeep Grand Cherokee? How do you like it?

Would you recommend it? Pros and Cons?

I don't own the new model GC, I do however own a 1996 GC LTD with the 4.0L I6 engine.  Its been a great truck for me and the odometer reading is 193,508 miles right now and still runs great.  I average 18city/24highway mpg.  

Since Chrysler screwed up and quit using the 4.0L I6 engines plus went to push button 4x4 in them I won't even look at the new models.  I'll just keep repairing mine.  

By the way the 4x4 systems shouldn't be that bad to service since you should be taking care of the vehicle in the first place.  I recommend getting the service contract through the dealership, as since all maintenance would be done through the dealer anything that goes wrong would get covered under the warranty since the service department missed the problem or refused to look at it like chevrolet did with one of my cars.

Jeeps are great, but the new V6 engines and the V8's are terrible gas hogs.  

Jeeps are great on and offroad, and they are greatly sought after in snow country.

Pro's - best selling Sprot utility in the northeast, styling, comfortable, lots of power.

Con's- lousy on gas (even 6 cylinder), 4wd systems expensive to maintain, problems with water leaks.
