Do you own a Smart JVCAM DVC-1600 Digital Camera?

Question

It has 16 mega pixels. Im from Ireland and bought one in Lanzarote last month. It's ok but really hard to work. I've heard there is a scam in the canary islands selling fake cameras. I dont know how to load my pics on to the computer. I have an apple mac and when I plug the camera in nothing happens, any advice?

Don't bother plugging in the camera - buy a little USB card reader, it is a much better method.
