I've used a Panasonic bread machine at least four times a week for the last ten years or so.

Only Panasonic will do. I've tried other brands and the bread they produce is mediocre at best.

I just got one thursday or wednesday & I've used it once.  I like it so far & am searching recipes for my little machine.  I only have a 1lb loaf capacity & most recipes I have found are for 1 1/2 lb capacity & 2lb capacities.  

Hillbilly Housewife has been most helpful to me, because I know now I can't use a recipe for 1 1/2 lb loaf of bread in my machine. :)

I own a bread machine and love it!  I also keep on hand a couple of boxed bread mixes -- you just add the ingredients to the bread machine along with water (directions are on the box).  When we have an unexpected cold day, it is great to have a nice loaf of fresh, hot bread, and I don't have to worry about having the ingredients on hand.

i own a bread machine...i actually think its one of the better kitchen inventions...its great for partys and holidays...and when u make the big meals like spagetti and meatballs and u want a nice fresh crusty bread to go with it?....all in all i totally think there worth having!

My mom does, and she loves to use it.  One of her meals is making homemade potato soup and serving it with onion rolls from her bread machine.  I love them!
