I've never had a toy that I had as a child or that was bought for my children that  I thought wasn't meant to be played with.What fun is it to look at a toy through a clear window in the box.I never understood why anyone would rather wait for a toy to "appreciate " in value rather than appreciate the toy.I realize that some toys have become collectors items and may be worth money however how do you know which ones will become valuable.Does anyone remember the panic of parents trying to buy Cabbage Patch Kid dolls when they first came out?People would pay anything for them, far beyond their market value.Do you think these same parents would get a good return on their Cabbage Patch dolls today.? Do you ever regret not playing with the toys that were saved as collectables??
