Do you paint the trim first or the wall and then the trim

i am remodeling and was wondering is it easier to paint the wall or the trim first

I have always found it easier to paint the trim first.  Paint the trim and don’t worry about getting a bit on the wall.  Then edge the wall paint to the trim.

Wall first, then trim.  When you roll the walls, you may spatter the trim.

wall 1st, wait a day or 2 before painting trim.  mask wall if you don't have a steady hand, and don't skimp on the brush.  the more you spend, the better the cut will be.
