  1. I live in a redneck town where people don't want government involved in their lives. They don't follow campaigns, yet vote republican every time. They do it because it's incultured; as is racism. They have certain long-held beliefs and refuse to look at them critically. They are low-educated and don't even know how to think critically. So, the problem continues. Ignorance and indifference are staples of white, rural America and when these people vote: they are the nation's biggest inhibitor.

  2. Yes just take a look at some of the posts on here.

  3. Absolutely... but it only "exists" in secret because society wants to sweep it under the proverbial rug - now it's mostly blacks being racists towards whites - which of course never gets reported or dealt with...

blacks keep their victim mentality despite what changes have occurred

  4. The answer is obvious.

Just look at the pro equal rights comments here.

The fact that most white males who read them gave them a thumbs down means that it exists and they will do their best to make sure it continues.

  5. Of course, that's human nature. Just imagine if you can see a cat and a dog live happily together in the same household!

  6. Naaahhhh, I don't know what would lead you to ask such thing. The world has purified itself from feeling that way. People are more harmonious and they get along even when they disagree. We go to war just for kicks and laughs.

I am so happy to belong to the new world of comprehensive and caring people. Finally, blacks, whites, yellows, reds and browns can cohabit with each other without fight, hatred and insults. Even the guys in Yahoo Answers that uses bad language againts a race, they do it because of love...

Come on, this is 2008. A racist is someone that will always live with the insecurity that another "race" is going to take over and that truly believes in mantaining the purity of it's race.

Wake up, smell the hate and get over it!

  7. Yes, because if Obama weren't black, kathy059 wouldn't have made that remark.

  8. yeah...it still exist..it just not as obvious as it use to be

  9. I play xbox live. Apparently on there everyone is either black white or mexican. And depending on which language i speak on there I am either a n*gger or if i am speaking spanish at the moment i am mexican **** or a ******* never mind the fact that i am half puerto rican half irish. People can be reaaal ugly when there are not speakin face to face and they mean what hey say too. I mean the KKK still exists right?

  10. Yes, and some racism will always exist. We can't force people to like each other.  The best that can be done is to try and assure that all  peoples' civil rights be protected.

Having said that, many accusations of racism are bogus.  For example, there are those folks who think that anyone who doesn't support Obama for President must be a bigot. Sometimes threatening to call someone who happens to disagree with them a racist is used as an intimidation tool to stifle free speech. Inappripriate accusations  of racism is also a barrier to legimate debate and discussions on issues of race and cultural differences between groups of people in our country.

  11. Yes. As a white woman I have experienced many incidents of racism as well as sexual harassment due to my race from hispanics. My son has even been a victim of it because of his white skin. He was around 2 at the time. I had him in my arms and the mexican man my apt. complex had hired to care for the grounds waited for us to walk by and the minute we were close enough,he intentionally blew leaves and debris in our eyes while saying "stupid gringo".  What sort of mentality must these people have to attack a helpless child based on his skin color? It's happening all the time.

  12. Yes.. It still exists.  I as well as many other wish it didn't but it does and always will.  People lived in different times about 50-60 years ago ..it was completely different then it is now..  They believed everyone that wasn't the same color were wrong and bad and that's how they raised their kids and so on.  Most races think they are better than every other race and that is just how it is..  It sucks.  We are all the same and that's how we should all be treated.  Me.. I'm not racist and think that anyone that is are complete trash..  But my own experience ..well I've had a lot with a lot of racist people and they are horrible I don't even want to say any of them.

  13. Where have you been girl, have you seen the racist Hispanics on yahoo answers, you have one right above that answer

Face it, the new face of racism in the US is brown and smells of tacos and hot sauce.

Brown people only like other brown people, sad but true.

  14. It was and all way be there ! People are not going to change and for most certainly will not change when the **** news or some leader tell you to love each other !

For me call me what you will but I pretty much Hate  everybody !

  15. I don't think we`l ever get rid of that problem. when the whites ruled south africa apartheid was racism against the black community .now in the new south africa we have reverse apartheid so racism is here to stay..just with a new cloak

  16. Unfortunately...it does...Ignorance will always be a factor in our every day lives and the people with whom we interact. And racism stems from nothing but pure ignorance.

  17. It's stronger now than ever.

  18. From the perspective of a Asian men...

    most definitely yes.

i can not even imagine the hardships of blacks living in a white dominated society. since their birth they suffer from humiliation.

my heart goes out to all the none white men in this country, especially the blacks and hispanics.

if i gain the level of wealth and power in america as white men now have, i promise to help blacks and hispanics gain employment besides low level labor. I promise to help promote the image and confidence non white women, so that not soo many of them become willing whores to the white male community.

for every thumbs down i get, means i have to work harder to over come the oppression of the "good old boys".

  19. yes it does exist...and probably always will!!

  20. Of course it still exists, just look at people on here "assuming" they know who is a "white male" without ever knowing and who gave thumbs down to whom,, it's obvious there is racism amongst these people that still think that way.

  21. just read the immigration section of this site and you'll have your answer.

  22. Yes, according to the lefts democratic presidential idiot, I'm just a typical white person.

  23. without a doubt

  24. Because it does.  Just as religious wars still exist solely for the reason that some countries only want their religion beliefs practiced, and upheld.  Just as men still get better paid than women in the same workforce/jobs.  Just as the White house is run and ruled by men.  In fact it is still the good ole' boys club.  Just as g**s and lesbians are blamed for the social diseases such as HIV - when proper education shows that it came from Africa, and started in the heterosexual groups first.

Even illegals have it better than the citizens.

37 million U.S. citizens (who work) are still living in poverty, and a Country that has been talking forever, and all talk about stamping out hunger around the world.  Isn't it strange how corruption runs rampant in every country on some level to have a poor working slave class in its mist.

Sad isn't it?!  When a country professes to be equal to all her citizens under her Constitution, yet there is still no equality at all.
