  1. i have made a 100% recovery from a year ago so if you need advice ill talk to you

  2. Hey, Xiao, still looking for answers, it looks like.  Have you looked into therapy yet?  I mean, you've been looking for answers on here for weeks, hon.  You're not going to get anything more than you have, time to move on and explore RL ways to deal with your anxiety and depression.

  3. So.... let me guess.... you didn't major in English, huh?

I think any therapist would tell you that there is a certain percentage of people that deal with depression who take comfort in the depression.  It becomes familiar after a time, and as such can curb the anxiety that frequently accompanies depression.

  4. I think that sentence makes absolutely no sense, so perhaps people with learning disabilities think like that.

  5. It's hard to move on when you are beating yourself up over events in your childhood and you are 56 years of age. Trying to be positive is a very demanding thing to try and do.

  6. Geez....people on Yahoo Answers can be so mean sometimes. I understand what you are saying, i guess that's because i suffer from anxiety and depression, and find it extremely difficult to get away from negative thoughts.

  7. anxious or miserable thoughts are persistent in some people, but it's actually often a matter of habit how you think of the world.  a lot of people have these thoughts prompted by a chemical imbalance in their body; but this is made much worse by them not looking for things to distract themselves.

i used to be anxious and depressed all the time, but i got myself out of a situation that was contributing to the problem, and since then have remained much more balanced and positive, as i know that it's possible to go from a bad situation to a better one if you apply yourself to solving your problems.

i still have the occasional lapse into negative thinking, but usually can find an activity or a friend, or an interesting random person on the bus or at the shops, to distract me and drag me back to a happier normality.

  8. forget about anxiety, depression and the rest of it. i think u need to sit back and take a good look. the REAL answer to ur questions is that you are OBSESSED. look up the word obession, or obsessive compulsive disorder. it is when so something so strong is overtaking ur mind, and controlling the way u behave, think and feel. when u cannot stop worrying or thinking about something. in ur case, you cannot stop asking questions or using this god d**n site. that is your answer for you. get over this obsession with yahoo answers. get off the computer. stop worrying. if u cant, then u are obsessed with something. it isnt normal to be spending your amount of time worrying, or using the computer, ur life should be filled with activities, love, friendship, achievements, fun and REAL emotions, not thoughts so unessessary that are overtaking ur mind and not allowing u to move on. clear ur head. PLEASE. im just trying to help u, im not being rude, because u are driving everyone insane aswell as yourself. its almost like u are looking for attention or satisfaction. im not saying ur making things up, because u are obviously having a hard time, and its hard when things in ur mind build up, but if u cant control them yourself, the reality is will never succeed in anything. u have to educate yourself, and then u will find the answers yourself, not from other people.
