Do you perfer beach or indoor volleyball?

I like being outdoors but it is more competitive and easier indoors

Indoor volleyball because in the sand it gets all over you and when its hot then the sand burns!!!!!!!!

I prefer beach because you are involved on every play and are more accountable for each point. Indoor is fun because of the energy and comraderie but there is nothing like winning in the sand when you and your teammate do it all!!!

I'm all about the indoor. I can dive, dig, and hit a lot more consistantly. And I don't get the sun in my eyes all the time :) But outdoors is fun just for goofin around. But if I really want a game, then definately inside.

i perfer...park volleyball! lol. i like the surface to be softer than indoors...but more sturdier then sand! lol plus, i hate wen someone goes flying and da sand gets kicked into the air, or into ur eyes!

I prefer indoor for a few reasons. My number one reason is because I can move a lot quicker. I also enjoy playing on the team with 5 other people were as in beach its usually a smaller set of people usually 2 people. Also a lot of times in beach the competition isnt as competitive.

Its easier to move around on the court when its indoors, its where I learned on the game.

I think indoor volleyball is actually easier. I've tried beach twice couple of years ago with a best friend of mine and it was hard!! With the sand and wind, and sun... too much to factor into the game! Definitely indoor volleyball for me!

Beach vball is a perversion of real vball.  Volleyball is meant to be played indoors, with shoes, 6 on 6.

Beach vball is a game.  Indoor vball is a sport.

Just my opinion.

And to the person who answered that in the indoor game, someone (a teammate) is right next to you all the time to get the ball...according to that logic, the ball would never hit the floor.

i've played competitive volleyball for three years now and i totally think that indoor is better...i do play beach in the summer just to keep in shape but there is nothing like the feeling of stepping onto an indoor court....and for it being easy they are both about equal but indoor is way more competitve plus indoor is year round no matter where you live

i like indoor better because outdoor and indoor to me are like two totally diff things because i mean u dress diff and just like everythings diff but the basics.

Beach volleyball! sure ... indoors is easier but it is scarier to fall, i mean falling on sand doesnt hurt but on hard cement or whatever it is the floor is made of - ouchy!and its just more fun at that beach. so yea my vote is for outdoors!!

i love indoor v-ball and it is harder to run in sand and what if you dug for the ball and got sand in your mouth!!!! ew ik!!

plus sometimes you have to wear a bathing suit and it may not look slimming on you!

I prefer indoor, its much faster paced. I love beach and beach will teach you things that indoor can't. If you have a good beach game, your indoor game will be great. Its just a good fact of life.

i prefer beach volleyball...womens beach volleyball....i like womens indoor volleyball too, but i just prefer the beach....and is it just me, or do guys looks ridiculous playing competetive volleyball?

i think it is the opposite. i looove indoor volleyball. I think people tend to not take the game as serious when it is beach volleyball.

ive only played indoor volleyball in competition but i think beach volleyball is so much more fun cuz its easier to dive without hurting your knees.

beach because indoor calls for so much specialization and position playing and though beach is only between you and your partner, i feel that there's more team work involved than in indoor, especially with the level of trust between you guys.

and beach involves all aspects of volleyball

well beach volleyball is really fun!!!... but indoor volleyball is so much funner for me cuz i can do things that are very hard to do in the sand.. like consistant hitting and diving and looking up without being blinded! haha

I love both! But if it really came down to choosing just one, I'd have to choose beach.

  In indoors, you're right--it is easier, because there's always someone right there to get it for you. But in beach, you have ot rely on only yourself and your ONE other partner to get there, to call the ball.

  I really think, for those who like indoors, that beach volleyball is GREAT training for indoors. If you play in the sand, with you and one other person, it really ups your game. Inside, you will feel so much faster, fell like you are able to jump higher, and it teaches you to be more aggressive.

  but I still love indoors, too, of course.

i perfer beach becuase i like to jump around in the sand and slip and slide and not have to wear protective pads.
