  1.   They aren't just "troops" they are people-moms and dads and sisters and brothers and lovers. I support them and that's why I want them to come home. And that's why Bush/Cheney don't care about them-they see troops, not people. ***   And by the way that's the difference btw a Dem and a Republican-to Dems we see people, Republicans see welfare cheats and illegal immigrants and antiChrists.

  2. It's certainly possible, but most of the anti-war noise shows military naivete. Those who were calling for an immediate withdrawal a couple of years ago were not supporting the troops, even though many foolishly thought they were. Once troops are engaged, it's impossible to simply pack up and go home. So we had to endure a lot of pointless noise about how we shouldn't have gone in for starters, even though it was totally irrelevant as to the best thing to do at the later date. And it does get tiresome to hear people say "I am stupid" over and over again.

  3. People can wish the troops the best and still hate war.  The war is quite misguided and we shouldn't be there.  Period.

Fortunately people aren't turning their anger about the war against the troops (as happened in Vietnam).  Most people recognize where the blame lies (on the president).

  4. I don't agree with the war but I do support our troops. They are doing their service to our country regardless of what I think about the war you have to respect them for going to a foreign country and risking their lives. So to answer your question, YES,  I KNOW IT IS POSSIBLE TO SUPPORT OUR TROOPS AND NOT THE WAR!

  5. I personally believe it is possible.

  6. Yes. I think the war is wasting heroes.

  7. yes, I find myself in the same possition, I support the troops 100%, no wonder they all send donations to obama.

  8. Absolutely.

Why WOULDN'T anyone support the people who enlist to fight for what we've built up together over the years?

But the sad truth is, they're not fighting for that and it's NOT their fault. Many people signed up after 9-11 and thought they'd be fighting the people responsible. Iraq and Iran didn't have ties to 9-11.

Yeah, I support the troops. They're brave as h**l. Especially anyone who enlists with the upcoming war in Iran looming. But I absolutely do NOT support the war.

  9. I think and believe that we can most certainly support our soldiers but not support the war.

  10. It is just like work, you have to do your job and that you support, but you necessarily do not believe in the job you are doing. It is possible, and I do support our troops, just want to see them again!
