And do you believe each one can actually be used in aiding healings?

I'd like to hear some examples.

  1. Different crystals do vibrate to varying degrees hence their use in electronics, but the crystals in my walkie talkie never healed me.

However, try this experiment. Cut your self and hold a piece of quartz for a long period of time, say at least two weeks. At the end of this time, behold, a miracle. You're cut is healed, and therefore the healing power of crystals is confirmed fact.

Where do you people come from, anyway? Was you're college tuition totally a waste? I'll be ticked if you received a government grant and I had to foot part of your bill.

  2. i personally do,in fact everything in the universe has energy,

i just found an interesting article related to the Energy, Water and Quartz ,(http://syninfo.com/Crystal/xls002.htm),

here is another ,for the healing properties;(http://www.prcupcc.org/stones/mr/quartz....

    and this is the title of a Journal Article,from ,Energy Citations Database;

Surface and interfacial free energies of quartz

    http://www.osti.gov/energycitations/prod...

  3. Yes, they can...for example clear quartz will pick up just about anything so it is not recommended to let other people handle those objects as it does not discriminate between energies.

Malachite (marbly dark green), another example, can be carried and is good for the heart. Angelite (opaque lavender-blue is good for opening communication with your guides.)

As you stated, they can be used in AIDING, but as TR stated --- they are not a replacement for medical doctors.

Mainly, you need to remember that stones/crystals (as well as colors and sounds) are more to align your spiritual self with your physical self and do not *fix* all physical ailments --- if that were the case I'd be healthy as a horse.

  4. Sure, I'd say that all physical material has thermal energy (unless of course it's at absolute rest) and there is chemical energy stored in many of the bonds in crystals and the like. Interestingly, the layers in mica are held together by a process called van der wall's bonding which can be thought of as a weak bond formed by differing energetic states of the layers.

  5. All crystals can hold the same two types of energy:  Kinetic energy and heat energy.  It makes no difference what type of crystal it is.  All matter is subject to these forces.

It is true that different crystals will absorb and reflect different wavelengths of electromagnetic energy, and let other wavelengths pass through.  Is this what you're talking about?

Also I have known certain crystals, such as diamonds and possibly quartz, to be used in healing.  For example, in laser eye surgery, an increasingly popular method used to heal eyes, a beam of light is focused through a crystal into the person's eye.  Of course, in this case, the crystal isn't actually being used to "hold" energy, but rather to focus it.

  6. Crystals have properties that we make use of every day: watches, lasers, liquid crystal displays, etc.

We exploit the frequency at which crystals vibrate and put the crystals to work for us.

Do these frequencies have any beneficial or damaging effects on the human body when the crystals are left--and used--in their raw and 'undamaged' state? This is the question that interests those involved in healing with the stones.

Our bodies vibrate at, and respond to, countless numbers of different frequencies. Some of these interactions are immediately obvious: sight, sound, temperature. Our audio range, for example, is between 20 Hz and 20 kHz. In fact everything we interact with, is done so on a vibrational basis.  So what about those frequencies which are not quite so obvious? Crystal and colour healing both rely on vibrations that affect various parts of the mind and body in beneficial ways. That some sounds help relax us, whilst others aggravate, is clear, just as it is accepted that some colours can promote a sense of relaxation. What isn't so clear is whether or not the vibrations from the crystals that therapists use do, actually, act on our bodies to promote certain physical changes (albeit minute in some cases).

It is my opinion that yes, crystals do have an effect on the human body when worn or brought close to it for lengths of time. How can there not be when we, and everything around us is in a constant state of vibration? (Do not forget that from a healing point of view there is almost certainly a placebo effect, in some cases.) The 'healing' effects of the crystals have been promoted and used for centuries, and it would be a mistake to simply ignore this fact or give it no credence simply because, at this point in time, we suffer from a lack of complete scientific understanding on the processes involved.

Remember, we have no definitive answer to the question 'How did they build the pyramids?', but there they stand, testimony to knowledge that we, as a civilization, have since lost. Who is to say that it is not also the case with crystals and their use in healing the human body?

  7. It is said that Rose Quartz aids in healing.  I have a Rose Quartz ring and it never heals me!!!  Only God can do miracles.  To depend on rocks is ridiculous!!!

Good luck and may God bless you.

P.S.  I have a rose quartz ring because I like pink sometimes!

  8. I once knew a hippy who claimed that she had deodorant crystals.  She wouldn't shower at all.  She'd just rub the crystal under her arms.  She actually thought it worked but she stank to high heaven.

She also was convinced that our incisors were developed not to eat meat (since she was a vegetarian) but to tear the grain off plants.

I think that about sums up the frame of mind crystal believers follow.

  9. I know that there certainly are people devoted to the supposed healing "energies" of crystals, but there is no scientific evidence whatsoever which supports the idea that these crystals affect the human body in any way. And I strongly encourage anyone who does have faith in these pieces of rock to never use them in place of obtaining actual medical help.

  10. I think there are some chrystals which can do stuff.

For example a quartz crystal can be used to create the piezo electric effect and you can make a radio out of it. I had a kit for this when I was a kid, and it worked. I got better reception and a choice of channels from a cheap store bought radio, but when you are a kid and you make your own radio you don't really care if its gonna play the hits.

Healing energies and magical properties is a bunch of garbage that people use to sell books and rocks which might be beautiful, but have no real value.

There is no evidence as to these claims.

  11. Controlled studies to determine if crystals have healing power have come up negative. These studies are well documented. People who claim that malichite is good for the heart or topaz is good for the liver are just repeating words which some other person repeated from someone else. Sometimes these people put it in a book and this makes others believe it is fact.

We are living in an age where people no longer have to live in ignorance. We've found how molecules work and how certain drugs will alter the molecules in your body. We've found what galaxies trillions of miles away look like so we can give up fantasies of gods living up there. People have worked hard for several centuries since Galileo perfecting mathematics, biology, electronics, etc, etc. and they have put this knowledge into books for YOU. You have this knowledge at your fingertips. You don't have to believe ignorant people anymore.

  12. I personally use gemstones and crystals on a regular basis. However, I do not use them to "heal" people. I don't feel that crystals and gemstones can on their own heal anyone. I feel that they are a part of that healing process though.

Each stone has it's own unique vibration and purpose, and when used in conjunction with other methods, can be a beneficial supplement to wellness.

  13. Yes to the first No to the second.

  14. Crystals help to maximize energy transmission and other qualities. Crystals have been used healing since ancient times. Crystals can be seen to transmit energy and are conductors in healing and in technology. There are crystals in your watch, computer, etc. that conduct energy.  Crystal Healing is a method of using crystals or stones to help achieve balance of the mind, body, heart and spirit. Crystals are  tools that carry specific vibrations and properties to help heal many types of illness, mental and emotional disorders and increase spiritual awareness. The crystals have an inner structure that is in a state of balance, it radiates energy like a laser, and this energy may be transmitted into objects (such as quartz watches) or people at will. As healers, people use crystals to release negative energy and thought patterns so that disease may be prevented or healed.

Each crystal carries a different and unique vibration, the vibration stems from the unique mineral make up of the crystal.  Different types of crystals are used to add different properties and vibrations to healing.  For example, rose quartz is widely used to increase compassion, love for self and others; amethyst is often used to help increase spiritual awareness and hematite is used for grounding and centering.
