Do you pick at your food while cooking?

I was making a sandwich and i was eating the onions as I cut them.

  2. Yes,I can't resist sampling the food that I am making,especially when I have fresh vegetables,or other good food cooking.

  3. Sure! When I make pasta I take noodles out of the pot and munch on them :D

    Or I eat the tomatoes out of my salad, or I l**k a batter bowl from some cookies.

  8. ugh yesss lol i was making brownies from scratch last week and i almost ate all the chocolate chips before they were even melted and then a bunch of batter before i poured it into the pan. i have no patience whatsoever.

  10. I try things to make sure they are good quality and taste good but, I always use a clean and fresh utesil each time.

  12. I couldn't eat a plain onion.  Onion rings- of course!  I'll taste as something is cooking.  When I'm chopping- I always eat some carrots, celery or tomatoes.  Sometimes a bell pepper.

  13. Sure! All the time! In fact, if you don't taste your food when you cook, how will you know if it will be good??

  14. That is the only way I know when it is done, by tasting it. Also especially at work when the chef is not looking.

    Honestly, I don't know anyone that doesn't pick at least once in a while. Besides, we have to check to be sure the food we are preparing isn't poisoned for our guests, right?
