  1. The only viable electric car on the market at the moment is the TESLA, which is only aimed at the filthy rich. The technology is already available, so all we actually need is some current manufacturer to put a bit (OK< a lot) of R&D money into the project. Unfortunately, car manufacturers are making far too much money doing what they do already to re-tool, at enormous expense, for a completely different vehicle. Since the finance industry has managed to include "phantom" profits" into any calculations - "loss of profits" is a legitimate term these days - the situation is even worse.

The climate change will wake some people up, but its inevitable acceleration will destroy much more before "the economy" is ignored in favour of human and planetary survival.

  2. I'm not sure how much they cost.  However I have a coupon for Duracell batteries.  Look in your mail.  You might have the same coupon.  That would help offset the cost of the car.

  3. No, I do not plan on buying an electric car. And I'm also not sure how much they cost. Watch "Who Killed the Electric Car?", and you'll know why they aren't so common. However, I think there is an even more viable solution to poor gas mileage and high emissions vehicles without the supposed extreme prices of the electric car. The Plug-In Hybrid is a new concept that can allow regular hybrid cars such as the Toyota Prius to get up to about 100-125 miles per gallon. Yes, it still uses gas, but much less, and the car should act in the same manner even with the plug-in electricity option. Go to this website to find out more: www.calcars.org.

  4. I'm not sure how much they cost but I know I'm not currently interested in one.  It would cost more to buy a new car than to put gas in the existing one.

  5. NO.

I have no clue how much they are. But...they look to weird for me right now.

(I know I'm gonna get some major thumbing down for that......but, it's how I feel.)

I like my car very much.

  6. Yep when they come out in full force.  They should be less than $30k I think.  Right now you can find used electric Ford Rangers on eBay, the ones I saw were $18-$26k.

  7. Yes when they are available. Only a few have come out or coming out such as the Tesla Roadster or the ZAP X crossover.
