Private gardens make up a significant proportion of green spaces in cities and provide a refuge for wildlife. If we did not resort to chemical warfare - using pesticides and weed killers then we could make a big difference.

  1. I don't apply ANYTHING to my garden. I let it grow naturally..weeds and all.


  2. good  question pesticides if not applied correctly can be harm full to you and environment also your newbies lawn the best way is to cultivate by hand re member weed seed nor lower than 6 inch deep

  3. I love poison in the garden! I have hellebore, and digitalis, and daffodills. I've grown belladonna, and nicotiana.

    I prefer pulling out my weeds, and keeping a mixed lawn (grass & clover & crocus and some weeds).

  4. I use some nasties in the garden-I love to soak cigarette butts in warm water and then spray the gunk on bugs.

    Bit of borax for the roaches.

    My favourite `poison` is my hands-ripping out those weeds, pinching slaters, throwing snails against the concrete BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

  5. No, sadly the weeds love me.  I try to love them back.

  6. No,I use mostly mulch,no weeds.I do fertilize the flowers,so I get butterflies,birds and humming birds.We have squirrels that get fed all winter.

  8. I hate aphids, mites, and ants.  And I give them a steady diet of insectacides.   And they end up dead.
