One does not pray for the price of gas to go down.  Praying to make more money leaves one to think that he then is lacking in something and so, in this case I might find it best to declare that I have all that is needed at the moment, and know that which I will need will be supplied.

I prayed for the price of gas to go down not for me as much because I just stay home more often to counteract the prices going up but I was thinking of the people who are really hit hard by the problem. I thought of the people who are already poor when the prices went up and now it made it impossible for them to make ends meet..I prayed the prices can go back down and they will be taken care of.

I don't pray for either one.  Gas is a necessity to be able to go to work.  We must spend money on it.. Making more money comes with hard work and getting that 'well-deserved' promotions with the help of your superiors.

So, no matter how hard you pray to make more money, it's not gonna happen unless you earn it...
