Do you prefer House or Condominium living?

Question

I will be moving soon and I was wondering your opinion (IF you have lived in BOTH at one time or another!)...

Do you find living in a Condominium or a House to be better than the other?

I have the option of choosing either one and have never lived in a condo. Currently I live in a rather large home and am wondering if a condo would suit my lifestyle. I have two kids and pets. I am looking for a neighborhood-type atmosphere where my little one can make friends. I am hoping it will be a final, permanent move.

Any opinions or advice would be greatly appreciated!! :o)

I prefer a house.You may have to do all the yard upkeep but at least it will be your yard.Condos with lots of stairs is not for children Of course it is less work involved.So your choice.

I like a house, with as much space as possible between me and my neighbours. They will have to drag me, kicking and screaming, into a condo when I get too old and feeble to live on my own in a house.

we lived in a townhouse for awhile---never never again!!!!!

too many rules, bylaws & whatnot. had to attend strata meetings to find out what new rules were trying to be passed. lots of people in that particular complex were unfriendly & rude.--It was all about them.

Am very happy in my house. don't ever want to move.

If you like house then move to cul- d -sac where other families have kids. In house you and your kids can make noises, jump on the floor and have yard to play and have fun. You get to pick  surrounding.

Condo, it is good for a couple who work and come, in the evening after work and don't have to clean snow in the winter on the driveway or cut the grass from the lawn.
