  1. Beer, because wine to me tastes like vinegar.

  2. Beer. I prefer a more interesting and varied beverage.

  3. between the two beer but light beer. Though typically I go right for liquor because it has less calories and gets you ****** up faster haha. But I hate wine and never drink it. I really can't stand the taste.

  4. beer, it is cheaper and i can drink one drink at a time without having to open the whole thing

  5. BEER, wine is for a special fancy occation, or for women who don't got no man

  6. There's nothing like an ice cold beer (or 2, or 3, or....) on a hot day. The Dutch ones are my favorites.

I like chardonnay in the evening during the summer, a hefty red with a hearty meal (like stew) in the fall and winter, a dry rose anytime, and chianti with lighter pastas or pizza.

What I prefer is based on what I feel like drinking at the time, not whether it is beer or wine.

  7. Wine, it has so much more variety in the realm of flavors, mouth feel, and aroma.

  8. Beer taste way better, but wine has more beneficial enzymes and such. I only drink water.

  9. I don't have a preference over one or the other. It completely depends on the environment and mood.

Lately I haven't been in the beer mood and a glass of wine with food is really good.

But when I'm working in the yard all day I like a few cold beers. Something about holding a cold glass of Chardonnay while mowing the lawn that just doesn't seem right. But after the lawns mowed and I'm sitting on the patio table relaxing - a glass of wine will fit in just fine.

    Great! now I'm thirsty.

  10. beer.

  11. depends

    beer if I'm like whatever

and wine to get drunker if i'm already a bit drunk, because wine tastes NASTY!

  12. Wine because it's classy, there are hundreds of wonderful tastes, and it relaxes me. I have nothing against beer, but it's an acquired taste... and I'm not willing to do it. I can't take more than a sip. Plus I don't drink to get drunk or buzzed, so why bother with something that doesn't taste good?

  13. neither i prefer whiskey or vodka....beer its so lame these days and wine its like the color of a rainbow and just look at the ingredints of them ewww no thanks i will take a 5th of burbon and a shotglass anyday

  14. Neither, I am strictly liquor!*

  15. I prefer wine. There are a lot of different varieties and tastes to it. Of course, if it's TOO dry, it resembles vinegar, but there are plenty of not so dry wines that are just lovely.

I have tried several different brands and varieties of beers... even a few craft beers. I just don't like the taste of them. To me, they don't cut a thirst, like so many say it does, and they all have a very strange after taste that I really don't like.

When it comes to cooking, I usually cook with wine. I will steam with beer, but I usually bake with it instead.

  16. i like beer.It makes food especially meats tender

  17. Liquor in the Front, Poker in the Rear. I prefer whining. Beer makes me too bloated, like Java The Hut.

  18. I think with anything else it depends on the occasion; beer seems to lean more towards a casual encounter while wine sort of indicates a degree of formality.

All that aside though for the most part I enjoy beer more. Alcohol in general is an acquired taste and it can be expensive to toss different variations around. For my money it doesn't get more relaxed than an afternoon of pool, bbq's and some good beer (domestic or import).

  19. Beer - Adnams - This beer won best pissed up on the occasion at every family do ever award from 1981 through to now and even now continues to strive on - wine is for acid attack - Love you more Smurf

  20. depends, if its a cold day, or if I'm playing poker or watching a game definnately beer

if its just my wife and i having dinner then wine.

  21. As Sam Calagione would put it "Wine has one ingredient, it's kinda hopping around one one leg" Wine is a "one trick pony"

Beer on the other hand uses multiple ingredients to build layers of complexity. It is a wonderful thing to have a beer with chocolate flavors without chocolate being used. True craftsmanship in brewing can produce truly remarkable results.

I can say, beer does have to "catch up" with wine regarding it's perception  with in the general public. With in the craft/microbrew  community it already has. Once more people realize how diverse and exceptional beer can be, this argument will be a lot more fun.

  22. I prefer wine. Beer makes you fat

  23. Beer. It's just good...its refreshing & I love the taste. For some reason if I have bit too much I get giggly & its happy happy laughing laughing party mood after that.

Wine makes me feel too relaxed & sleepy. Too much sugar content & I always get a hangover after.
