Do you prefer flying a legacy airline or a budget airline?

Let's say you're going to a far destination. There are 2 airlines that flies to said destination. Would you take the airline that leaves on time, pampers you with special services, really takes care of you, lets you earn mileage? Of course, it won't be cheap. BUT your airport is easily accessible.

Would you rather take a budget airline? Cheaper fares but you get less the service provided to you by the other airline I just mentioned. You'll probably have to pay for your inflight meals. The terminal they're located on lacks a lot of the amenities you'd find in the big terminals.

So what will it be? Pampered Service of flag carriers vs. Cheaper Fares of budget carriers, choose your side.

It depends what type of air travel are you taking. I mean if i am going on for some short visit in which the travel time is 1-2 hours or close to that then i would prefer budget flight and would search for the cheapest airfare. for those flights which took very long and you spent more then 10 hours in flight then it will be best if you take the flight which can pamper you otherwise it will be very frustrating and boring to pass time.
