could you post your age, too? I ask that because I grew up in the country and moved out to a city when I graduated. My mom bet me I would want to live in the country when I got older. She was right.

  1. well im 17 n i perfer living in the country. i use to live in Newark,NJ for 10 years n its a big city. i really hated it. i like the counttry cuz i feel calm n relaxed n happy. city ppl are rude n have no time for a meaningful conversation. the city is dirty loud n just disgusting.

i think its really a personal question.

  2. I'm markusfarkus and I'm 42.

I grew up on a dairy farm in New York and thought I'd always live in the country.  After college, I got a job in a city.  Engineers and other tech professionals often have to work in a city.  Surprisingly, I loved living in the city.  It only took me 15 minutes to get to work.  There were all kinds of cool bars and things to do in the city.  Shops and stores are close and convenient.

Now, I have the best of both worlds.  I live in a city, and have a cabin in the country.  On weekends, my girlfriend and I go to the cabin and turn off the cell phone and enjoy the peace and privacy of the woods.

You can check out my cabin.

  3. hey i live in the city, wal mart is closer for my wife, and im 47 with eight kids

  4. country: it's quiter and more peaceful.

  5. To answer the age part, I'm 26..heading to 27 in a couple months.

I grew up in a small little town in missouri, moved to a bigger city when i was 16, move into St. Louis, MO at 23....and now I live int he country...about 15 miles fromt he nearest town...and the town only has 1,500 people...

To be honest. I love city life. I'm not fond of small town gossip, and I don't like being isolated from anything exciting. I liek action, activity, being close to things. Being close to work. Close to..just...everything. restaurants, movies, theater, shopping...I like being on the go.
