Do you prefer roses or violets and why?

Violets!  They are easy to take care of and keep blooming with little fertilizer and even light on the water.

Roses are gluttons.  They need tons of fertilizer, buckets of water, and they have to be sprayed for disease and insects or they don't look very healthy.  Plus, have you ever seen a rose bush when it's not in bloom? U-G-L-Y!
