Do you put the end of a book in a book report?

im doing a book report an the Kite Runner and i dnt know if im supposed to put the ending or not

  1. It depends. If you're writing a synopsis then yes. If you're writing a paper on the book it depends on whether or not it's relevant to your commentary.  


  2. Yes, you can go ahead and put in the end. But unless your assignment calls for it specifically, make sure that your report is not just a synopsis (a summary of the story), but includes things like themes, character traits, and less obvious stuff like that. Teachers love that kind of thing!

  3. You could make it a bit vague, don't explain what actually happens, but explain how the character changes or what they learn without giving out the ending.
