Do you put your fake tan on BEFORE OR AFTER a shower?

hi girls. im going out tonight and i need to have a shower. but before i do.. i need to know whether i have to put on my fake tan now and then shower or after i shower. the reason im worried about putting it on after i shower.. is that i dont want it going on my dress. i have a white dress. i normally put on fake tan a day before i have a shower. then the shower washes the excess off.. so i get a natural tan and it wont go on my clothes. i cant do that today.. what would you do???

You apply fake tan after a shower. Make sure you exfoliate really well first. That way you wont have any streaks as the tanner wont adhere to old skin cells.
