Do you rats do this?

I have three rats. While they fight for food when it arrives most of the time they seem to stay close to each other. I often see them in a tight bundle grooming each other or resting with their heads together. They look so sweet! Here is one of them.

  2. Blue, ugh, *rolls eyes* (I'm trying to ignore it, i really am!)

    anyway...

i often see my girls doing this too! It's one of the most adorable things they do. They're extremely social and love to be together, i just love that about rats. :)

  3. Rats do like to live in social groups.  The grooming often denotes the pecking order for the group of rats and is called 'power grooming'.  I have four males and they always sleep together etc. like yours.  My alpha male grooms the others quite rigorously, which sometimes makes them squeak but they let him do it, they certainly know who's boss of the cage!

  4. All the time!!!!!!!!!!!

  5. :) My girls do that all the time

    They love each other!
