I read the ingredients on my pack of the "NEW & IMPROVED" version of BIG RED Chewing Gum~ It now has ASPARTAME! Why would a gum loaded with sugar even need it? I quit chewing sugarless because I've heard Aspartame causes health problems in some people.

  1. All the time.  Being a vegan I kind of have to.

  2. Yes, I read food labels. It's partly because I want to check what's in them and partly because I feel the need to read just about anything I find with words on it.

  3. Yes, I do, all the time. :)

It's good to check the labels just in case, especially if you're vegan. It seems silly sometimes that a product would unnecessarily have animal products/ other unhealthy stuff in them, I know. >_< Sometimes frustrating.

I'm pretty much obsessed with reading labels, food people give to me, candies (which pretty much have animal by products all the time), and so on.  ._.

  4. I read food labels all the time. Lots of things contain meat or other animal bits that might surprise you.

  5. Yes aspartame is not for me it tastes yucky and I like sugar and dont' want to get the headache associated with aspartame.

  6. Yes I do read food lables, being vegan.

Unforntely there are a lot of ingreidents out there that causes health problems in people but yet is still approved by the FDA as being 'safe'.

  7. Obsessively.  Check out B-Fresh Gum.  It's vegan, sugar-free, and has xyllitol for a sweetener.  I try my best to avoid aspartame as well, but it's in a heckuva lot of products, isn't it?

  8. I do because I'm vegan, but i didn't when i was a meat eater because as long as it looked good, I'd eat it (not surprisingly, I'm much healthier now)

  9. YES I do I have loads of food allergies.
