Do you realize that Global Warming is a scam being used to implement a global carbon tax?

I am saying that it is not caused by man. It's something that happens, and has happened before. It's normal.

However some of the elite are trying to form a world Government, and they are using it to make people except a global carbon tax. Do you belive this could be true?

Yes, I do... pretty much anyone with half a brain, and an understanding of history and economics can see that.

We know the earth has been heating and cooling since the beginning.... the cause of Global Warming is the sun.

People look at a 20 year period of heating and are convinced there is climate change.

People will say, "OMG, it snowed in Baghdad for the first time in 100 years... must be Global Warming". Well... if it snowed 100 years ago, isnt it just the weather.

And what scares me the most is the harm that the "solutions" these nut cases propose is worse then anything solved. Lets clear-cut the forrest and plant corn... and use fertilizer to pollute the water.

Gimme a break. Man does not cause Global Warming... we are not that significant to this planet... we cant change the weather....

But there are some that see this as a new form of communism, and a way to re-distribute wealth.

Higher taxes and greater control over other people's life is the goal for many people.  

These people are very jealous, upset, and angry that other people make more than they do.  These people don't want to see others have more than them.

Given that there are only 2 ways that they can increase their standard of living, work harder or hinder others, it's easier to hinder others with a higher tax burden.

It's these people who are demanding that the gvmt place higher taxes on the working class.

There are many basic scientific facts which can only be explained if the current global warming is being caused by an increased greenhouse effect due to carbon dioxide accumulating in the atmosphere from humans burning fossil fuels.

For example, the planet is warming as much or more during the night than day.  If the warming were due to the Sun, the planet should warm a lot more during the day when the Sun has influence.  Greenhouse gases trap heat all the time, so they warm the planet regardless of time of day.  Another example is that the upper atmosphere is cooling because the greenhouse gases trap the heat in the lower atmosphere.  If warming were due to the Sun, it would be warming all layers of the atmosphere.

Scientists have a good idea how the Sun and the Earth's natural cycles and volcanoes and all those natural effects change the global climate, so they've gone back and checked to see if they could be responsible for the current global warming.  What they found is:

Over the past 30 years, all solar effects on the global climate have been in the direction of (slight) cooling, not warming.  This is during a very rapid period of global warming.

So the Sun certainly isn't a large factor in the current warming.  They've also looked at natural cycles, and found that we should be in the middle of a cooling period right now.

So it's definitely not the Earth's natural cycles.  They looked at volcanoes, and found that

a) volcanoes cause more global cooling than warming, because the particles they emit block sunlight

b) humans emit over 150 times more CO2 than volcanoes annually

So it's certainly not due to volcanoes.  Then they looked at human greenhouse gas emissions.  We know how much atmospheric CO2 concentrations have increased over the past 50 years:

And we know from isotope ratios that this increase is due entirely to human emissions from burning fossil fuels.  We know how much of a greenhouse effect these gases like carbon dioxide have, and the increase we've seen is enough to have caused almost all of the warming we've seen over the past 30 years (about 80-90%).  You can see a model of the various factors over the past century here:

This is enough evidence to convince almost all climate scientists that humans are the primary cause of the current global warming.

I do realize it as do most scientists. Recently a study found that if anything during this period of time the Earth has been cooling down more not heating up more. Also let's take a look at every big actor that preaches energy conservation and how we are creating global warming. Take Al Gore for example, he is a huge advocate of "Green", don't get me wrong energy conservation is good, but Al flies in a private jet everywhere and lives in a multimillion dollar house, how come he doesn't walk the walk? Because Global warming and cooling for that matter are natural courses. Although that doesn't mean we should waste everything.

Carbon taxes would be good for the government until we start reducing the creation of additional CO2.  Then the government would have to find something else to tax to make up for the revenue loss, just like the taxes on tobacco.

The tobacco tax was suppose to pay for adolescent health care but because of the reduction in smoking caused by the increase in price of the product it won't work out so a new funding source has to be found.

It is like a dog chasing its tail.

Also, should Hawaii be taxed for the CO2 its volcanoes are producing?

No, your premise is not true.  If it is true genious, how about providing a little more supporting detail?  Is this group of elite going to overthrow world governments with peaceful means, or are they training a secret military force, and do they intend to invade and establish military rule?  I was just wondering how these "elite" are intending to enforce the tax, especially on a worldwide basis.

And, as for the nuts that claim warming is caused by the sun, duhhh.   Global warming is an issue of such complexity someone will always be able to raise some doubt, despite the evidence.  

What I don't think anyone can dispute is that we humans have become so successful at survival, we will overpopulate (if we are not there already), and our consumption and waste is significantly impacting the planet in adverse ways.  Global warming may be one manifestation.  Try traveling to India or Southeast Asia sometime, and experience the atmospheric pollution first hand (sometimes visibility is less than a city block due to smog) and then argue we aren't impacting the environment.

Why would "news" programs do this?  At the end of the day they are entertainment businesses, motivated by profit.  Creating false controversy increases ratings, increasing advertising rates and revenue.

The primary scam present in the current discussion of global warming is the false appearance of confusion on the topic, created by special interests and promoted with the eager cooperation of the news media.

The upper end of the IPCC predictions call for 11 degrees F of change in the next 92 years, about a degree every 8.5 years.  In other words, soon we'll be seeing as much change in 8 years as we've observed in the past 100.  Aside from the direct damage to water supplies, crops, forests, the ocean, coastal cities, and the cumulative effects of all of that on global economies, things will be changing so fast we won't be able to predict what changes are coming next so we can adapt our agriculture, etc. to keep up.  

The truly scary thing is that many of the most informed scientists think the IPCC conclusions were far too optimistic, watered down by the political review:

Asking carbon users to offset some fraction of the damage it causes seems like a very small insurance policy compared to the possible collapse of modern civilization.  No one even knows if we can reduce emissions enough to make a dent in the warming, but we'd have to be suicidal to not to give it a try.

We will of course need the cooperation of major emitters like China, but similarly large emitters such as the United States have a long way to go to catch up with them in some areas such as China's average 35 MPG.

Do you realize that your post is really an assertion and not an actual question?  And did you also realize that making an assertion with no evidence to back it up, makes you look disingenuous at best?

The only reason a global carbon tax may be implemented, is because too many people ignorant of the science of AGW refuse to accept it as real and deal with it using voluntary means.  If the doubters would simply admit their error (or at least acknowledge they don't understand the science, but enough scientists agree that we should do something), then a much more palpable solution than carbon tax could probably be found.

My own Libertarian leanings don't like the government imposing things on people, but when people continually choose to do things that harm others (e.g. smoking around children in public or polluting the waterways we all must drink from) then it sometimes becomes necessary for the government to protect people from their own ignorance.
