Do you really believe McCain's people vetted Palin?

I certainly don't! There's no way that they knew she had a pregnant teen daughter and was in the middle of being investigated and still picked her anyways. There are a lot of people he could have chosen that would not have brought all this negativity to his campaign. I'm sure that had he known, he would have picked one of them instead. Republicans in Alaska even stated that they were never talked to until the day before McCain announced her as his choice! Now he's just being forced to cover for her because it would make him look bad for not knowing and showing poor judgement!

Check it out!

  1. She was in the process for a while. She was below the radar due to her none existence in national politics. She was only known as a "hockey mom" as a governor. Besides, it is best to keep as a surprise anyways.

Her problems in Alaska in terms of the probe are in investigation and the McCain knew all about it.

I am a Obama supporter through and through. Biden at one point seemed to be the given but they did not give hints.

Who cares about what Palin's daughter and her having a kid. I am just happy that both candidates will not look at it.

Here is some links about the process:

    OBAMA FOR PRESIDENT

  2. It doesn't sound like it.

Palin's campaign manager apparently wasn't aware of the pregnant teenager until 2 days before McCain selected her.

  3. Yes they did, they had to interview her for hours and she had pages and pages of forms to fill out.

Sorry, you guys are reaching and it isn't getting any traction.

  4. No, I don't think they vetted her.

If anyone thinks Wright was a nutcase, they ought to check out some of the comments by Palins pastoir.

I would think since so many are mixing religion and politics that investgating the church one has been a memeber of would be part of the process.

BTW, I talked with a woman today who had been an ardent Hillary suppoeter and was so disappointed that Obama won. She was leaning towards McCain until he picked Palin. I asked her why and she said it was very poor judgement of him. She added if he was to die she would hate to see Palin in office. I hope more Hillary supporters who are voting for McCain will see the light !

  5. I heard about her being vetted since April.  Where have you been?

  6. no, i don't

  7.   I think you need to look at Biden,

"By August 1987, Biden's campaign had begun to lag behind those of Michael Dukakis and Richard Gephardt.[33] In September 1987, the campaign ran into trouble when he plagiarized a speech by Neil Kinnock, then-leader of the British Labour Party.

It was also alleged that, during his time as a law student at Syracuse, Biden had plagiarized a law review article. Though the then-dean of the law school, as well as Biden's former professor, downplayed the incident, they did find that Biden drew "chunks of heavy legal prose directly from" the article in question. Biden said it was inadvertent due to his not knowing the proper rules of citation, and Biden was permitted to retake the course after receiving a grade of F, which was subsequently dropped from his record.

Biden had inaccurately recollected graduating in the "top half" of his class when he actually graduated 76th from 85,

Now look at his brother and son:

It doesn't sound like he was vetted very well.

  8. I believe the vetting process went forth but didn't include Palin. Palin was and is an effort to curtail Obama's successful nomination with the DNC. At this stage, McCain has taken attention from Obama, but the spotlight is not welcome as a measurement of good judgment.

  9. First your Wrong..

McCain and his Party did know about all that you just Stated..

Second you should check your fall your acts.. msnbc has been getting dinged all day long for bad or misleading info...

Come on don't trust the media and its hype do your own research into the matter.. them make an informed decisions..

Thank God the OUR Founding Fathers of this Country decided to use the Electoral College to decide the Presidency..

  10. McCain's people lied about Palin being vetted -- the FBI has admitted they did NOT vet her. So McCain has dispatched ten operatives and investigators to Alaska to find out if there's anything else that's about to hit the fan regarding his veep pick, a woman he had run into only once in his life and then called her on her cell phone two weeks ago at the Alaska State Fair. That was it before she made the short list and was selected. McCain's radar -- honed perhaps during his own self-admitted indiscretionary phase of his life -- is telling him there's more to the Palin story. You mean things like her support of the Alaska Secessionist Party or being one of the directors of recently-arrested Sen. Ted Stevens' political action groups? Heck, I dunno. We shall see...
