Not really it's possible they were keeping him from being cup tied therefore making him more attractive to teams in Europe.

no if he had played against Kaunas then he would have been cup tied and therefore no good to St Martin, I believe the talks were at an advanced stage then and the fans have been duped again,mc gregor will be gone soon as will boyd.

If you look at it unemotionally then he picked up the injury against Raith Rovers so I believe he was genuinely injured.To my mind the fact that Rangers went out of Europe triggered the transfer and had they qualified for the next round then Carlos would still be at Ibrox. Earlier in the summer O'Neill was in for him but I think that was put on hold waitung to see if Rangers qualified for the Champions League. As soon as went out we were sitting ducks and I think big Carlos decided to take the opportunity whilst he could.
