Nope.  Monkeys have tails.  Since we don't have tails, that would make us "apes," not monkeys.

Whether you think we were created by god or not, that doesn't change our taxonomy classification.  We are primates.

Although we do share some genetic similarities, this no more makes us monkeys as it would make monkeys humans.
