How many of you have fallen for this one! She has been governor of Alaska for less than two years! She is a wanna be beauty queen (came in second), a soccer mom that loves guns! Wow! Wonderful choice! Oh let us not forget that her state has a population less than that of Los Angeles!

She consolidated and iginted the evangeical voters

She is far removed from being tied from the Bush administration

She can tell voters about the benefits of drilling for oil and gas and how it has helped Alaskan voters (Remember 78% of Americans support oil drilling)

She has a record of being a reformer, taking on ccorruption even within her own party (9% Congress appoval people are tired of biparisan politics) Gives the GOP 2 canddiadtes with a record of biparisan polirics and ethics reform

Isn't the mayor of LA the one who signed the leglslation that prohibits fast food restaurants in poor communities.

She has actually been the person to make the final descision Governor and mayor.

And y OBama working as a community organizor would have gone to a Sarah Palin for the final decision

You do realize that Obama as a Senator represents 1.1 million people but never has to make the final decision for them

Yes - Palin is a Splendid choice and she will make a Wonderful VP (and future President)! It just goes to show that McCain is a true maverick, reformer & genius who picks likewise!

* has the record of the most beloved Governor in the US by her state (Alaska)

* has actually been leading people for the past several while Obama & Biden NEVER have led anyone!

* shelved her state's pork-laden Bridge to Nowhere that McCain has ridiculed on the trail

* will join McCain in fighting hard against earmarks

* is a huge fighter of corruption in Alaska

* helps McCain connect with working-class and rural voters

* is about as far outside the Beltway as you can get

* ran on the agenda of stopping wasteful gov't spending

* is the mother of 5 kids!

* has had her son deploy to Iraq

* is for a strong US defense

* is a widely acknowledged rising star in the Republican party

* is an ice fisherman

* is a moose hunter

* is a small business owner and a lifetime NRA member

All in all, she's a truly fine leader, citizen and patriot - who truly represents Americana (Motherhood & Apple pie)!

Comparing her less than 2 years as a Governor of State to Joe Biden's representing the people of Delaware for  30+ years (obviously very beloved by his constituents) or to Obama 8 years as a state senator where he represented almost as many people as in the state of Alaska and his 4 years as a Senator give him far more experience than she has.  This ideas the Republican pundits are trying to put out that she has more experience than Obama is unbelievable.  She didn't even know what a VP did (a quote) nor does she care about Foreign policy (another quote).  

For someone to write that eating a moose burger is a qualification for President or that being a mother of a son going to Iraq qualifies her for Foreign Policy credentials (again another pundit's pronouncement) is very sad.  I used to have respect for John McCain as a politician not any more. I also don't believe anyone who was going vote for Hillary will vote for him based on this choice.  Gun-toting, pro-life (no abortion even if a woman is the victim of rape or incest, who called Hillary a "whiner"  please............

So what has Obama done. He went around and did public speaking. Since he had a law degree shouldn't of he became a public defender. So he went around and did speeches. Even as a senator most of his votes where note yes or no they where present.

During the same amount of time, Sarah was a member of the PTA. Became a city councilperson, then Mayor. She was chairperson of a oil and natural gas commission to develop cheaper means of oil and natural gas. She found that the commission was corrupt with big oil bribing members. She quit and exposed those people 3 of them where even from her own party.

Then she became Governor. She has taxed the Big Oil companies on their high oil prices. She then took some of the money from the taxes and paid $1200.00 to the citizens of Alaska. She has worked on development of a natural gas pipeline from Alaska through Canada to the continental United states. This will bring down the cost of heating our homes during winter.

Obama has talked about doing something.

Please.  She has been in elected office for 14 years, more than Senator Obama.

She has already had to have dealings with Canada and Russia over oil, fishing rights, trade, transportation, security....more negotiations with foreign governments than Senator Obama.

She is also commander in chief of the Alaskan National Guard...more military experience than Senator Obama.

Governor Palin is an excellent choice.
