I'm not looking for standard issue "live and let live" cliches, of course we all (should) agree with that. I'm asking if you personally believe that it would behoove humanity to adopt your outlook on life. I don't believe any should behave like me. As Hunter S. Thompson said:

“I wouldn't recommend s*x, drugs or insanity for everyone, but they've always worked for me.”

  1. I believe that it isn't "my way of life" it is the way of life that God calls me to. I believe that GOD's way of life is the best way to benefit others, but it is their choice because He gave us free will. I am just following it.

  2. Yes... The world would be a better place if more people shared my view on life.

  3. Well, if everyone did what I wanted, we'ld only have to worry about STD's.

  4. No, definitely not.

I live far too selfishly and am quick to indulge.

  5. If everyone had my belief systems, there would be no more war, but on the negative side they would be so relativist that nothing would ever get decided

  6. I think my outlook on life is acceptable compared to others, not that I'm naming any names. But I wouldn't try to force anyone to see things my way.

  7. The reason I am on here is to raise awareness about feminism. I believe sincerely that people will benefit from knowing the truth.

    Edit

I have also learned a lot since being here e.g. re VAWA, conditions in other countries etc.

  8. Yes, I really do.

If people focused on the simple, self-evident truth that suffering sucks, if they lived "live, and let live," had a healthy respect for reason and evidence, accepted the humanity of all humans, took a long-term view of things, and pushed for genuine education in schools, we'd all be vastly better off.

  9. Something tells me that I would sound arrogant if I believed and said  that my way of life could benefit others when infact I know very little about what they wanted in/from their life. I can't be 100% sure that they would be happy if they lived like I do.

  10. The problem with saying it is ' Gods way of life' is that all he left you to follow is the bible and it can be quite conflictory and open to interpretation.

So what you are actually saying is that your philosophy is based on your understanding of Gods way of life.
