Yes from the normal perspective in Physics we are in are 3 dimensional Universe to go deeper, string theory says their are 11 dimensions. No it is unknown exactly from a mainstream science point of view what exactly are they. But from a Metaphysics perspective in what i personal perceive as true from Quantum Theology, The first is the physical, 2ND Etheric, and 3rd the Astral. Like an onion. When you die you you cross dimensions and time is different. The Universe is "Frozen Light" 3 dimensional and Holographic.

Jim is also right their or several more Quantum physics can prove but in a sub-atomic particle perception

All talk I've seen of multiple dimensions hasn't progressed beyond the theoretical speculation phase.  So it's a bit early to tell.

Other dimensions are not what you think. There are other dimensions. In fact, there are 11 dimension. The explanation is complicated and everything boils down to the M theory and superstrings.

I think what people see when ghosts appear is a break between dimensions. Also quantum math is saying there are several they can prove.

sure.  Ants only see two dimentions.  so theoretically speaking, there are other dimentions we are incapeable of seeing.  Plus what ever we see is based on what type of sensory organs we have and what they are capeable of.  for example, cats can see basic colours but not as many hues and shades as humans.  so maybe there are more colours that exist that we are uncapeable of seeing - or other dimentions

Yes.  i work with an organization that is currently trying to fix a small "problem" that we caused.  (shadow figures) soo... yes i believe and am very sure because i have seen another dimension.

We do have some sources like Tesla and his 'electromagnetic' energy or 'scalar' energy, an interesting read.  Also, UFO's are on some other dimension but kinda close to us.

Maybe everything is in one dimension and we just can't see it. Or maybe I don't really understand what a dimension is. Can you give me a good link explaining exactly what a dimension is.? I used to think I understood what one is..but maybe I don't .

Research supergravity.

They have counted 11 dimensions before the machine blew up.

We know gravity is related to time, as magnetism is related to electricity.  Time is two dimensional - a forward and back dimension to it.

Paranormal investigators use EMF meters and other devices - but nobody is using gravitational sensors! It could be there are naturally occuring changes in gravity - distorting time locally - just as there are stray magnetic fields. As these shift due to the earth core changes - so the ghosts we see are fleeting glimpses of the past.

Since science has already theorized that time does not flow in a straight line, but "curves",  why couldn't the past intersect with the present, just as the future could intersect with both past and present, at various times.

This theory would certainly provide a better explanation, even hypothetically, to a lot of issues under the Paranormal banner.

No, but there is the Western sleep state that is one of the "benefits" of living within the Gregorian dating system.  You need to get some sleep or you won't have enough energy to work 9-5 during the day and live a full, productive life.  

The intermittent schedule, people who jet in and out from the other side of the world is not another dimension.    The world is round and it is light where the sun is shining.    It may be dark in your area.  That is not another dimension.   People who live in the wilderness without sleeping usually have a short life span and die at 40 or less years old.

However, if you are from a planet that is always dark, the whole thing looks like another dimension and the planets rotate at another rate, so when you see cyborgs and beings from another planet walking around, they really  don't know what day it is.

If Super String Theory is true and it has some experimentally validated evidence for some of it's equations then there must be at least 11 dimensions.

Honestly, I see and feel and hear things that most people would say don't exist, so I don't discount much of anything these days. So I personally think it's a distinct possibility.

I used to wonder the same thing. There is a syndicated show on (AM) radio in Chicago and the host is a man named George Noury. It comes on at 11:00 p.m. (CST) and touches on a series of paranormal topics. One in particular is the existence of parallel dimensions, or ones that occupy our own living space. In these are people who either are deliberately watching us through some sort of dimensional portal or simply cross into ours by chance. They are reffered to as "Shadow People". In recent years more and more instances have occurred and prompted professionals in most every scientific discipline to pay closer attention. Just remember, few ever thought man would conquer the speed of sound or be able to view micro-organisms. If and when we are able to reach the speed of light, new dimensions will open to us.

ALL KNOWING: I have had several encounters with the unexplained. It has changed my skeptical nature and made me more sensitive to the existence of "others". I think the biggest steps are learning to be more open-minded, accept that mans knowledge of the world around him is still in its infancy and to not be afraid of things we do not understand.

Too many rely on "logical explanations" and are quick to undermine that which does not fit neatly into a scientific category. Keep in touch.

You have this dimension of the living.

You have the dimension of one who is at deaths door.  This would be were one is can not recognize the young, but only see the people they knew when they were younger.

Then there is the one where you have just passed but haven't crossed over.

Then you have one where you have crossed over & are at peace.

There are actually several dimensions if you think about it.
