I do as much as I can, but it bothers me when people talk about the problem but have done nothing to try and solve it.

  1. Where do U think our present supply of fossil fuel came from. It was from fossil plants not animal. At present the plants are recycling the CO2 into fossil fuels . This means we will never run out of fossil fuels. The green house gas is not there and GW is a LIE...

  2. i know what you mean! personally i haven't been too educated on climate change until just this month and i've started to research the little changes we can make to stop it. i have started changing but look forward to making as much of a difference as possible, including educating the people around me to do the same.

    SAVE THE TREES!

  3. yes i care about the environment but i don't make a big deal about it

i also don't  understand  why people can't throw there dirt into a garbage can no instead the just throw it on the ground that's just stupid

  4. On my part i am planting trees, protecting honey bees and doing drip farming and trying to tell everyone that what a disaster we are bringing upon ourselves if we all don't  chip in.

I would like to highlight one point here.

There is a tradition in India from a very long time back, that one washes his body with just one mug of water. I think there must have been a time in the past like this from where these guys have picked these traditions. And one is supposed to throw water to a plant after gargling in the mouth after you have finished your food. And there are many other ways to save water here.

  5. I really do.  I reuse and recycle.  I am not that great at reducing but I am recycling more and more every day.  I keep my AC at 78 which in Texas is a feat because everyone has it under 75.

I try to not waste water and use vinegar to clean instead of chemicals.  I will be buying a new car in a few months and I am trying to see which one could be the best for my needs and environmentally safe.  When I can, I use my bike to go to work which is less times than I would like.

I try to do as much as I can because global warming is real and if all of us did a little bit, the Earth is going to last us just a little longer.

  6. There is no problem to solve. I care about the liars that are trying to make me feel guilty and regulating me.

  7. i do as much as i can to save the environment, and as i always say: actions speak louder than words, so i actually do the things i talk about. i expect to become an architect when i'm older, but i want to try and build things that are as eco-friendly as possible. i'm only in year 8 at the moment, but i do my bit to help the earth and prevent it from global warming! =)

  8. U r very true ... We all do nothing other than just discussing abt wat can be done.. You kow what.. 40% of us really know about the problem. 20% know the reasons , precautions. And 10% discuss these precations and reasons. But only. 3-4% are doing something in dis regard.. Even me... i am doing nthing else than discussion .. We care but are too lazy or irresponsible to do anything..

  9. No - "Global Warming" is just this decades Y2K fad.  It won't be around in a couple of years.

Remember it was just a couple of months ago that the purchase of rice was limited because of "global warming".  Does anyone even remember that now?

  10. Yeah I really hate that too. We to stop talking about it and do something!

  11. I totally care about global warming. I do as much as I can, though it is hard as you say. I care about animals as much as I care about ourselves. Start with the simpalest things. Like not using cars as much.

  12. Yes I do as much as I can. I recycle, take shorter showers, use energy-efficient light bulbs, and bike whenever i can.

  13. Yeah.. Really... try to express it by your own.. Those people who knew it but tried nothing has a cognitive Rissonance... They doesn't practice what they preach!!!! Somehow.., let's do our part in a most creative, strategical and economic way... You can find convenience in doing this though.. :)

  14. yes yes and yes!

    i do care!

  15. I don't cut back on my carbon footprint because of global warming, I do it for the oceans. We know that we emit 24 billion tons of CO2 into the atmosphere each year. The oceans are absorbing huge amounts (about 22 million tons a day) and becoming more acidic. As the pH drops, the calcium carbonate shells of coral and shelled sea creatures dissolve. That means Diatoms (a type of alga) die, and that has a ripple effect throughout the food chain. For more than 600,000 years, the ocean has had a stable pH, but since the industrial revolution, the pH has dropped 30% and it's getting worse. That's reason enough for me.

  16. Not one bit...i drive my diesel truck everyday, go everywhere in it, to the store, to the gym, to work. I use a gas powered lawn mower, i use areosal cans for automotive applications outdoors. Burn used oil at my dads work in the bush. We cant change sh it all about global warming...either its a big bag of bull sh it or its very real and we are all doomed in 200 years. Or maybe the earth is slowly being sucked towards the sun as with the other planets? Who knows? Why worry about what you can not change? I may be pessimistic but think about it...we all are sucked into the idea by businesses to buy thier eco-friendly product at 2 dollars more then the leading non-ecofriendly brand. Ever think that they are just a bunch of executives sitting in their nice cozy office looking over the city saying "wow..these people are willing to pay extra for a bottle that has on the lable 'Eco-friendly!! and we sit here make all this money" Stop being stupid...trying to change everything over to eco friendly will drive the price up of common goods (grocceries, etc) and then everyone will be mad about that. Buy a diesel trucks, crank your A/C and bburn used oil. Also, worry about our healthcare system here in Canada first, worry about your country's needs ahead of the Earth.

    My two cents

  17. I recycle and use those new light bulbs, and turn off lights when I leave the room and keep the thremostat a bit lower on cold days now.  I'm even driving less than I used to.  But it has nothing to do with global warming, because I don't believe in global warming.  I just do it to save money.

  18. I would care a lot if it were real. Orson Wells created a similar panic way back in 1938. People genuinely believed Martian invaders were attacking Earth. Sounds silly, doesn't it? Well, Global Warming will sound silly to your grandchildren.

  19. i think so...

but never than anything too big except a little ones like turning off the light when not needed or anyting that's not used...I do not do them but now yes
