Do you really hate Kimbo. Or do you hate ther advertising people that talk for him?

I don't really remember him saying or doing anything to hate him. It's just elite X.c and advertising that says that stuff about him being the man.

I think Kimbo's cool.....

no kimbo seems to be a pretty chill guy what i hate is the hype around him, and the fact that he is being treated special, just bc he is EXC money maker....i am still sort of pissed about the Thompson fight, but to give the man credit he has been training hard, and he is surrounded by good guys, and with Bas behind i relay don't see how he will not be able to find decent success, if nothing he can do what Bob Sapp , make all the money he can in mma, put out a rap cd or something, write a book ( hughes, ortiz, and i think Couture have done it), do professional wrestling,alot of fighters went back and forth between mma and pro wrestling Shamrock, Sakuraba, and some of the other j*p fighters, h**l even Cro Cop did it , i think money wise Kimbo will be fine, but i think he is doing a good deed and a misdeed at the same time for mma, bc alot of people see it now as a sport of brute force instead of technique, but it did spread the word...what can u do at least i know i am gona enjoy the Shamrock fight :)

Kimbo Slice is kind of the best of both worlds for MMA. He's great because he's making a true, serious, skillful sport get even more media exposure. He's bad because the long time MMA fans know that he's probably not going to even beat a marginal heavyweight like Tim Silvia and they get upset at the media hype. You have to remember as well, if your watching Kimbo on these live CBC broadcast, the announcers are speaking as if they're talking to somebody who's never even seen a bar fight, let along an MMA fight. I wish Kimbo success, and think he's a good addition, strong man. Time will tell to see how he does.

i hate the people who are on his nuts claiming he is the new number 1 heavy weight in the world. i really hope he is not buying into his own hype cuz he would be in for a really rude awakening.

Definitely the latter. I actually feel a little badly for him, because it's a no-win situation. I hope he ends up financially comfortable, because a lot of people who really could care a rat's behind about MMA are just using him to make themselves richer.

When he starts talking about fighting somebody like Chuck, it's kind of silly, but I don't fault any man for letting his pride get a little bit away from him.

No I don't hate Kimbo,actually in an interview I viewed him in he was very honest in saying that he had a long way to go and still lacked experience but I commend his courage and heart although perhaps his management are hand picking his opponents to boost his fight record but maybe he'll improve with Bas Rutten on his side time will tell.

His promoters, and I'm a little peeved at those who think of him as something special, especially the ones who bring up Kimbo and Fedor in the same sentence. But, yeah, the man himself seems cool. I just wish he fought a real MMArtist, so that his fans could get a reality check.
