  1. No.

  2. YES!!! i really h8 it... >.<

  3. no,, just the lies that go with it

  4. i do hate global warming cuz its ruining our planet@

  5. Yes....its stuffing up my seasons.

  6. I am not sure if global warming is really happening!

      Read Michael Crichton's STATE of FEAR  and your thinking will be changed!

  7. No, I actually encourage it.  I would love it if it were warmer here.  What i hate are the people who insist that it must be stopped.

  8. To all those people who hate the global warming 'myth', might I respectfully propose a menial test:

    Take a large plastic bag and punch holes in it. Place it securely over your head and see how well you are still able to breathe, thanks to the fresh air coming in through the holes.

    Now, remove that plastic bag and fill it with cigarette smoke, exhaust fumes from your car, soot from your chimney, or ash from your charcoal grill. Empty it and securely place the bag over your head again. See how much 'better' you're able to breathe NOW??

    Smoke-belching factories, vehicle emissions, toxic chemicals, oil spills and all other kinds of man-made pollutants have poisoned our air and waterways. While global warming is, indeed, a cyclical event that takes place over tens of thousands of years, man's "industrial revolution" has certainly contributed to the escalation of the natural cycles. That means most plant and animal species have not been able to properly adapt to the coming climatic changes. If plants and animals can't adapt to the process, man cannot survive because - like it or not - we are all dependent upon one another.

    Whether you're Christian, Muslim, Jewish, Hindu, Buddhist, agnostic or atheist, you have to have enough intelligence to recognize that all living things (plants and animals) have been put on this Earth for a purpose. Even the ugly horse shoe crab* has its place on this planet, as do elephants; tsetse flies; Venus fly traps; oceans; remote Eskimo tribes; Bengal tigers; meadows; mountains; rivers; wetlands; tribal villages in Brazilian jungles; mosquitoes; honey bees; rare, poisonous Amazonian frogs; caribou; coral reef; human beings; great white sharks; mangrove forests; krill; wheat fields; rain forests and millions of other creatures that live on this Earth. We need them to sustain us as much as they need us to protect them.

    We've been terrible stewards of the Earth in these past 150 years as we've become 'civilized'. We've raped the Earth, pillaged its resources and plundered its beauty and bounty all for the sake of our own profit, comfort or convenience.

    Now it's almost too late to reverse the trend, especially since so many of us deny that global warming is real. If we won't even admit that our gluttony [driving gas-guzzling SUVs and Hummers, wasting energy, and destroying the planet] has impacted on our very survival, we as a global community won't be able to do much about it.

    So our grandchildren and great-grandchildren will pay dearly for our own selfishness, greed, arrogance, ignorance, stupidity, sloth and hubris. While we continue to drill for more oil, cut down mountains to get at more coal, destroy rainforests so we can eat cheap BigMacs, and over fish our oceans to exhaustion so that we can dine on $100 sushi in five-star restaurants.

    Global warming is a 'myth'??

    I don't think so.

    Denial is more than a river in Egypt.   -RKO-  06/28/08

  9. I really hate the myth concerning it:

    http://common-sense-conservative.com/?p=...

  10. I have to check with Al Gore!

  11. Well for one, back about 30 years ago everyone was concerned about global cooling- now it's global warming.

    Also by the fact that the earth does have natural global warming and global cooling cycles. 300 years ago there was a little ice age.

    around 1000 years ago the earth was alot warmer

    remember when those scientists found that fossil of lucy down like 100 feet below the waterline...that means that at one time the ocean was lower than it is currently.

    Many will claim that our climate is regulated by the sun and other factors that doesn't include humans.

    Also you shouldn't be too worried about CO2, why won't the government do anything about cattle. They are one of the largest producers of green house gases-many whom are worse than CO2..... such as nitrous oxide and methane.

  12. Oh, great. Now we're going to get all our science and facts about a subject that affects everyone on this planet from ONE writer of FICTION (see bhimsen post)...

    Might I suggest that instead of reading fiction, you read the facts as reported by the IPCC in 2007. The IPCC is an international, non-partisan, non-political, UN group made of the world's best and most experienced climatologists. The IPCC won the Nobel Peace Prize for this report.

    There is no one more credile, more universally accepted and no more knowledgeable about the world's climate than this group.

    And what do they have to say?

    "Warming of the climate system is unequivocal" - Global warming is happening, and happening now, folks!

    And who caused it?

    Global warming is (90% certainty or more) caused by humans.

    (http://www.ipcc.ch/)

    And who agrees with these sentiments?

    1 All major governments (including Bush) and most minor governments;

    2 The UN, the EU and all major international treaty organisations (even NATO considers GW one of the 5 biggest threats);

    3 All major climatology study organisations and research groups;

    4 A large majority of climatologists and environmental science experts;

    5 Most science related groups recognised globally as being credible (e.g. NASA);

    6 All major policy groups and think tanks responsible for home security, town planning and long-term political policies.

    The science is clear yet still the myths abound:

    Steven:

    Global climate change has been the consistent concern; lazy reporters and uneducated public are the ones who keep changing the title (e.g. "warming")

    No one disagrees that the planet's climate has been different in the past. This is not the concern of GCC (it's the pace of change that matters).

    The theory that the variation in the sun's output was responsible for the warming seen was a theory in 1985 - 23 years ago! It has been thoroughly and completely refuted especially in the last few years (http://www.independent.co.uk/environment...

    Yes, there are other greenhouse gases but CO2 is the main factor responsible for the warming (again, the IPCC report is very clear on this). The correlations between mankind's carbon emissions, the concentration of CO2 in the atmosphere and warming trends is direct and obvious.

    A farting cow produces far less GHG than a coal-fired power station... and why wait for "the government" to do something about cows (what can they do?) - why don't you - and I, and everyone else - reduce or stop eating beef? Boom! Cow prolem solved without government intervention.

  13. I too, hate the myth of global warming.

    Please - get your facts right.

    Why are you listening to people like Al Gore.    Have you ever asked yourself what qualifies him to make these bizzarro claims?

    Also, have you ever looked in to just how much energy Mr Al NIMBY Gore uses?

    Global warming doesn't exist.

  14. well its a myth and i hate myths so yes i hate globle warming there is no such thing whats wrong with you al gore

  15. yes!! it is killing our planet and everything living on it!!!

    but yes...it may not be true were not exactly sure!!!

    but if it is true.....why isn't anyone doing anything 2 stop it!!!

    there is sooo much we can do 2 stop it...like not using aerosol...which is hairspray...spray axe!! yes..it makes you smell good but its killing our ozone and is smelling good really going 2 help you when we all die?? i dont think so

  16. I hate the myth that man is causing global warming.

    Best wishes,

    Your Friendly Neighbourhood CO2
