Do you really think Pavlik beat Taylor in their rematch fight?

I'm a big Pavlik fan, but I really think Taylor had that fight. I felt his defense was better and he connected with more accurate jabs. He also countered everything Pavlik threw at him. Just my opinion, but I felt Taylor put on a better show.

are you kidding me taylor winning that fight? I think taylor won 4 rounds to the most. PAvlik backed taylor up with that jab and in every round taylor would have a couple rallys where he would throw a hook or a upper cut. I guess pavlik has to knock down his oppenets for people to see that he won. I will give taylor this: when pavlik was backing taylor up he was good at staying away from the ropes but i think it was very one sided i think taylor will not do that well at super middle weight i think he'll win some but lose a lot. I  scored the fight 116 -112. The judges score cards were correct. Taylors a washed up hazben and  pavlik is going to kick a** his whole career. If these 2 were to fight 100 times pavlik would beat taylor 100 times

Pavlik won because he was busier, more consistent, and had more stamina. I thought it was a very good fight that could have gone either way but I feel that Pavlik did enough to get the decision. I do agree that Taylor put on a better show because he flurried more and landed the more glancing blows.

Pavlik connected with 100 more punches and injured Taylor's eyes.  Hats off to Taylor for a great fight but the guy lost.

I agree w/ Blogbaba2.The only score I agreed w/ was the 115-113 score.This was a tremendous fight from both of these fighters.Not that they will read this,but I take my hat off to them,and Want to thank them for their efforts in and out of the ring.The sport of boxing has done well by these two class acts.Thanks!!!!!!!

I think Pavlik definitely won 115-113, I'm a HUGE fan of them both and think both guys are great for the game.  Taylor needs to go back to Pat Burns as his trainer, he doesn't' look the same and had openings all night, but for some reason he just kept waiting and waiting.  Taylor had a bump in his career, no biggy, he'll be back if he puts Burns back on as the number 1.

Numbers don't lie. Kelly threw more punches and landed more punches so he won the fight but I must say Jermaine did better this time around, he kept the fight close.

It was a d**n good fight, and both guys put on a h**l of a show.  Jermain fought better this time around and it was close.  I had it dead even after ten rounds, five apiece.  Pavlik edged out the last two rounds, and legitimately won the fight, but it was close.
