  1. I think Taj Mahal is a symbol of love for some people.  It was built by king for his departed wife.   The building gave people jobs and continues to give people jobs through maintenance and tourism.   The building apparently attracts tourists from around the world.

However, in referring to India I must point out that this is not the highest love.  This love seems to be more on the material plane.  Since the majority of people are attached to material love they, of course, are more attracted to the Taj Mahal rather than the temples of India.  And there are some fantastic temples in India.

  2. ya i think  so

  3. Yes it is,

Though to see it through bare eyes may make one think that it is more of a vanity, but then the person will be thinking based on his/her own perspective, and era.

But the driving thought behind TAJ was that of love. It was build by Shah Jahan to imortalize his love for his wife Mumtaz.

As far as I know, Taj was only  a part of a grand design. Taj build of flawless white marbel was to be connected to another mouselum in pitch black granite by a red sandstone bridge over river Jamuna.

The white Taj resting place of Mumtaz, reflected the purity of Mumtaz's love for Shah jahan, who would be resting in the Black Mouselum, (symbolising the void that Shah jahan is with out Mumtaz) on the otherside of the river.

The linking bridge was in red to show the intensity of their love.

Now, this does makes Taj a symbol of Love.

  5. Yes, alot of couples walk there holding hands...I went alone :[ . Also, Its very impressive as soon as you walk into the Taj Area. The huge white structure is beautiful! Also the Jamuna river is right next door, bahot sundar!

The Taj Mahal is one of the world's most recognizable and

evocative sights and a visit here does not disappoint. Set overlooking

the River Yamuna, visible from Agra Fort in the West, the Taj was built

by Mughal empire Shah Jahan to enshrine the body of his favorite wife

who died giving birth to her 14th child, in 1631.

  10. History is totally changed.Taj was built by a hindu king, JAI SINGH.

Mumtaz died during her 14 th delivery of a baby, but not in Taj.

Many secret rooms inside Taj is closed to public view.

Any visiter may adore the beauty of Taj but they are not aware of secret of Taj

  11. Of course it is - no second thought about it. Visit Taj Mahal with your partner & see the difference - enjoy.

  12. Yes, Do you know why?

Taj Mahal built  by Shah Jahan (died 1666 C.E.) in the memory of his dear wife and queen Mumtaz.

Work on the mausoleum began in 1633 and 20,000 workers laboured for 17 years to build it. The most skilled architects, inlay craftsmen, calligraphers, stone-carvers and masons came from all across Indian and lands as distant as Persia and Turkey. The master mason was from Baghdab, an expert in building the double dome from Persia, and an inlay specialist from Delhi.

Yemen sent agates, the corals came from Arabia, the garnets from Bundelkhand, onyx and amethyst from Persia. Mumtaz Mahal’s final resting-place was ornamented like a queen’s jewel-box.

NOW DEAR TELL ME WHO CAN not FORGET HIS LOVE AFTER 17 YEARS AND BUILT THE LEGEND .......DONT YOU ACCEPT IT AS A SING OF LOVE.

Its proves that people die but love never.

Truth is alway truth does'nt matter people accept it or not.

  13. No; it's the symbol of sin. Taj Mahal was an Hindu temple!
