Do you really think Tony Stewart will leave JGR at the end of this season?

He says every year he's leaving, so maybe thats an indication that he really wants to leave or ready to move on or not happy at JGR.

- But do you really think he'll leave this time?

- If so, where do you think he'll go?

- If so, do you think he'll take Home Depot and Zippy with him wherever he goes?

I think Stewart will leave JGR at the end of this season if he can.  He definitely won't renew his contract.

He's looking for ownership and/or equity.  With the penalties and fines that were levied this week, Haas CNC just got a whole lot cheaper.

Home Depot going with him - probably.  Zippy - maybe.

I think he will leave to go to hendrick, everything is playing out that he will.  Casey Mears contract ends this year, and Rick hasn't showed that he wants to renew it.  It would be awesome to watch smoke, Jimmie, Jeff, and Jr race as teammates

and zippi will go with him not sure about the home depot because of the whole ex-grilfriend Tara Roquemore issue Tony is having to deal with!

Yes because he wants a deal like Dale Jr got with Rick Hendrick--own/part own a racecar in addition to himself racing. Jr started his own deal before he went to Hendrick, though, and didn't wait for someone to hand it to him in a contract.

I don't consider Tony Stewart to be a Chevy man like Dale Jr. He might be tired of being a two time Cup champion playing third fiddle to 2 whiny punks who have both wrecked him, talent or not.

Who knows where he'll go. Whoever puts up whatever he wants.

I am sure HomeDepot will go with Tony and as for Zipadelli he'll have to deicde whether chemistry, friendship/loyalty and winning history with stewie is worth turning down the money Gibbs would offer him to stay with the toys.

Yes he will, Has anyone else noticed that Tony will not mention Toyota in any of his interviews after a race? He will say his car ran good but not say his Home Depot Toyota ran good. He will leave after this season. I say good luck to Tony, Toyota shouldn't be there anyway. If Nascar has to give toyota 40HP more than all the rest, how is that fair. I have also heard they are using Chevy blocks, don't know if that is true or not.

He does not appear to be top dog at JGR anymore, so I would say, yes, he will be leaving.

I would be surprised if he left JGR.  If he did, it would be something to do with the Toyota/Chevy issue.

I'm not crazy about Toyota being in Nascar but you can bet they're here to stay now so we might as well just deal with it.  And with their past (truck series success) as proof, they're going to be a force so Tony better consider what he'll be up against if he does leave.

If he leaves, he will get part ownership somewhere else.  That's all that's left for him.  He's probably a little board & needs another aspect in racing.  He and Richard Childress would be a good fit, I think.  Not sure about how Tony & Harvick would mix.

I think IF Tony left JGR that Home Depot would be crazy not to go with him & Tony would be crazy not to take them with him.  They've been good for each other.

He is leaving for sure.  Childress isn't giving up part ownership and neither is Hendrick. There are only 2 people with the money needed to make smoke a partner in another first teir team, Rick Hendrick and Paul Menard's dad.

I see Smoke, Menard, Robby Gordon and Truex as the drivers. The team will be Stewart/Menard and will consist of the assets of Haas/CNC,  or DEI.

Jr's talk of JRM going to cup?  He is only pressuring Teresa (with Truex threatening to leave) for Tony and Menard. Teresa will be out of the Nascar competition business next year. DEI will be a legacy for Sr and her daughter without a competition division.

without reading any comments or news I would say definately he is leaving. I do nto believe he was for the toyota swap and since he like jr is a bowtie guy I figured he would be going sooner than later. No dount he will take home depot with him. Glad to see him go and hope he is happy where ever he goes and wins like the smoke we know he is.

I may be a jr fan but tony is okay in my book.

I do see him leaving to go to Childress, I have also heard that UPS is looking for a team to sponsor next year.  I would hope that Home Depot would be smart enough to go along with him, but if they don't maybe Tony will be driving the big brown truck!  I hope for all us Smoke fans that Home Depot stays on board!!!!

He will take Zippy with him, no matter what it may cost Tony's new team to get him.
