Do you really think highly of Kyle Busch.?

I am a diehard NASCAR fan and I love the sport, but lately I've been prety mad because of kyle busch. No I don't think he's a good driver and no I don't like him. He's a bad sport who needs to learn to quit whining when he dosn't win!!! Hendricks had the best equipment in nAScar and they let kyle go because kyle was destrying equipment and not any kind of human being. Perfect example, he leaves the track last year while his team is fixing his car, can't you wait to see if your poor tewam can fix the car. No because it's only me, me, me. Toyota has an unfair advantage in the sport and now that gibbs was caught cheating in the nationwide he'll be caught in the sprint too.

So I was wondering what people feel about kyle busch and for the people who do like him, HOW CA N YOU LIKE HIM????? (please dont say because he's winning)

THANKS

  1. He's my favorite driver!! It has nothing to do with the winning, I was his fan before that.

As far as why? I love the intensity, I like the fact that he's outspoken, I like the fact that he drives like every lap is the last lap of the race, I like that he hates settling for 2nd, I like him for all the reasons that those who don't like him, don't like him.

  2. Kyle really angers me a lot. His big bro, Kurt angers me too because of what he did to my favorite driver, Tony Stewart.

    Why I hate Kyle

1.) He is an arrogant, cocky moron.

2.) He crashes into a lot of racers (What he did to my 2nd favorite driver, Dale Jr. was absolutely unacceptable)

    3.) He cheats

4.) Whenever he doesn't win, he gets all teary.

If people think that Kurt is one of the most hated sports athletes, then little bro Kyle fits in it too. I think Kyle is like the Manny Ramirez of NASCAR since he has an attitude problem, with the exception of wanting to be traded.

Your question is a very good one, BTW. And you are right, how can ANYONE root for a jerk like Kyle Busch? I think he shouldn't be a driver at all.

  3. I can't stand him, but I will tell you who I do like - ANYONE, who wrecks him, stands up to him, bumps him for the win, or tells him like it is - I say DOWN WITH THE KEBLER ELF (Thats who my son says he looks like...)

  4. The kid can drive anything that has wheels, you have to give him that. I do not like him because he will wreck anyone just to win. That is not racing! That is a bumper car tournament. He needs to grow up and quit whining when he loses or someone wrecks him. He is a bad sport and a sore loser.

  5. I don’t like the kid at all.  But he can sure drive!

  6. I do..... ive been a fan since the beginning..... ive seen him do the same things that ive seen other drives do and he gets the flack for it.... i dont see him whine anymore tha ive seen gordon or smoke whine..... i mean h**l smoke ran through his own teammate and cried..... he's goodand he did win last year in a car that many many many peple say was not up to par..... when he gets older i think he will calm down, thats my opionion.....

  7. I liked the kid since day 1 and continue to like him. That's the way he is and it probably won't change. Everyone has their own opinions. People need to stop talking abou thim because he's on fire this year. Hate to see what people will say if he wins the championship

  8. because he's winning.

    ;-)

seriously, winter glory nailed it. i've liked him since before most people on here ever heard his name, other than as kurt's little brother. they were the hometown boys when i caught nascar fever while living in vegas, and i like their attitudes and fire both on and off the track. i'm not saying i'm sure i'd like to go fishing with the man, but i doubt that's likely to happen. he doesn't seem like he's big into fishing, and neither am i, unless i'm fishing for compliments.

as for all the other bile you spewed on my screen, it sounds like you are the pot calling the kettle black about the whining thing. actually, yours sounds more like ranting. and i've found through experience that no amount of rational conversation and logical debate can change the mind of someone who is ranting. so thank you for sharing.

  9. First of all, your going to have to get over Kyle winning all these races.

Second, Kyle and his talent are here to stay.

  10. He is not my favorite and never will be, but the dude has talent and is a great driver he is young, he will mature just like his brother Kurt did. He has a great ride, and unless something drastic happens this yr, he will probably win the championship. If he were in a Chevy I could cheer for him, but Toyota and I are just not happening... But even I will admit the dude has been awesome this yr..

    Go Dale Jr & Hms

  11. I like him. He's raw and goes out there and drives like there's no tomorrow, and to me that's good racing. I also think he brings a lot of excitement to the sport. He's almost the anti hero. I am glad he's my driver's teammate though ;).

  12. I love Busch for these reasons:

    1. He is one h**l of a driver

    2. Any man that gets up and bows to all the boos he gets is hilarious

    3. He races like there's no end and he wins while doing it

    4. And finally because he is cocky cause sometimes it takes a cocky person to win races.

  13. Well I hope you know that you are probably going to get slammed on a question like this so beware! And my answer to this is that I'm not a Kyle fan but I have to give credit where credit is due and that is by admitting that he's got loads of talent and he's proved that this year! (obviously) And that is where I'll end this cause there are an awful lot of Kyle fans that are my friends and contacts on here and I will not disrespect them or him cause like I said like him or not you've got to admit that he's good! (sorry I can't agree with ya)

  14. He is a punk, so NO can't stand him.

  15. "No I don't think he's a good driver and no I don't like him." - You may not like him but you can't deny how fast he is.

"Hendricks had the best equipment in nAScar and they let kyle go because kyle was destrying equipment and not any kind of human being." - But he's not destroying equipment this year is he?  Do you think Hendricks might be reconsidering the wisdom of the Busch-Earnhardt trade they made?

"Perfect example, he leaves the track last year while his team is fixing his car, can't you wait to see if your poor tewam can fix the car. No because it's only me, me, me." - Considering that was around when he was fired, maybe there was more going on with the situation than is known publicly.

"Toyota has an unfair advantage in the sport and now that gibbs was caught cheating in the nationwide he'll be caught in the sprint too." - Toyota doesn't have an unfair advantage, they just helped their teams build better engines.  That's part of racing, working hard so you have equipment that's equal to or better than your opponents'.  Gibbs cheated on an engine test, not on the track.  You can't explain Busch's season by saying he's cheating.

"HOW CA N YOU LIKE HIM?????" -  I don't really like or dislike him.  I think he's very talented and I think YOUR reasons for NOT liking him are uninformed.

  16. no i'm not a fan but to be fair he is one heck of a driver. however he also needs to grow-up and learn how to lose gracefully. you can't throw a little fit every time you lose. sorry Kyle you can't win them all

  17. i do not think highly of kyle busch, he is just a good driver having a great year. drivers i think highly of are jeff gordon, mark martin, tony stuart, maybe jimmie johnson. those are the only active drivers i think very highly of because they have the skills, experience and talent.

  18. I have never said I wouldn't go fishing with the guy!

Maybe Kyle is a spoiled little brat. Because of that Dale got to see what a Hendrick car felt like. I remember his comment being something like even wrecked it rode better than mine.... So I loved it when Kyle stormed off. I didn't think much of his behavior then and still think he needs to grow up and he will. Last saturday nights actions were just a long line of incidents he has put in the bag to prove he is a brat. He has a huge ego that aside.

He can drive the heck out of a race car. It is either skill or incredible luck that he can take a car over the edge and succeed, or both. I wished my guy had been such a success in his car this year as Kyle has been but they are two differ ant drivers. But the years not over and neither are either of their careers. Like him or not he is gonna be around for a while.

  19. i dont as for people who do its because of the fact that people usually watch a few games and see who wins then just become a permenen fan of them (unless they do something REALLY BAD like stuff i cant post on here)

  20. I don't like him, but I think he can drive a race car.

As for his attitude, I think it's good that NASCAR has a "bad boy" again.  Too many of the drivers always say the right thing all the time and have become emotionless droids for their corporate master (Jeff Gordon anyone).

Does he have some growing up to do - yeah, probably.  But he reminds me of a young guy named Dale Earnhardt back in the early 80's.

  21. Your whole question is basically personal feelings without much truth in it. It's just personal opinions to support why you don't like him.

It's not hard to see that he is a great driver. You don't sit first in the standings almost all season by not being a great driver. That is an insult to the rest of the drivers who come out each week trying to beat him. If he was a bad driver he also wouldn't have 8 wins.

Hendrick did have the best equipment...but did the 5 car? Kyle Busch finished 5th in points with it last season, but look at what Casey Mears has done with it. Nothing. To me it's cool how Kyle was able to get a car that had been struggling for the past few years into the top 5 in points. If he was let go for destroying equipment, that's a bad reason in my opinion, considering he only had 2 dnf's and one of them came when he was wrecked in the chase by someone else (remember who?).

I also don't see how you can say he's "not any kind of human being." He has donated $500,000+ to charities over the past 2 years alone, and runs in more charity races than any driver I'm aware of despite a busy schedule. And you can't forget that he races the Craftsman truck series for FREE just so he could help BIlly Balew get his struggling team off the ground and contend for wins. That's better than most humans I know.

Sure, he left the track last year before his crew finished fixing his car. So what? He makes mistakes, I'm sure you and every other person in the world has, too, so why does everybody make a big deal about it when certain people do? I don't blame him for being upset after wrecking. I would be,  too. Most drivers get upset like that, but sometimes he let's the adrenaline get to him and says/does stuff he regrets later. Duhh most drivers do. The fact that he has a personality and is no longer being instructed what to say and do by his owner is cool because he gets to be himself and that could be another reason why he's done so good lately. I was tired of watching the same old NASCAR where everybody got out of their car and acted the same way...thank my sponsors, apologize if I looked at someone the wrong way, smile a lot, etc. If you don't like it, that's fine, but at least he has a personality that you can or can't like. Most drivers nowadays are so boring to listen to that many fans are just apathetic about it. Now Kyle Busch, Tony Stewart, Juan Pablo, Denny Hamlin and a few others have come along and they give you a lot more to like and dislike. It's up to you to choose which, but at least you can have a strong opinion about it.

Toyota has an unfair advantage in the sport? Ok. If this were 5, 10, 15, 20+ years ago, that advantage would have been fine. Why not now? Just because certain teams/drivers aren't winning this season? Anyone who says the Toyota's have an advantage in cup now are wrong, since the dyno results from Michigan were put out, and showed that it was actually a DODGE driven by Kurt Busch who put out the most horsepower. If I remember Kyle was only 3rd or 4th of the 10 tested, and another Toyota, Brian Vickers, was last in overall horsepower. That should do away with that theory.

All of that above is how you can like him, but you can dislike him for all of the same reasons. It basically depends on what you want to see. Some people look for the bad in him, and others look for the good. Simple as that.

  22. I do not like Kyle, never have never will.  I think he is arrogant, has a very bad ego problem going on and he really hates to lose.   But he can drive a race car, I will give him that.   And he wants to win.  Nothing wrong with that. He is slowly getting on my good side.  It took awhile after the Richmond race for me to even look at his car.  But I finally got over that.  I know alot think he was a racing deal, I still think different.  But I am over it.

Kyle is going to be Kyle, like it or not.  He will be around for a long time so we might as well just get used to it.   And he can make a boring race a little exciting,  because this year I have to say has not been that exciting.  at all.

  23. Ahhhh.  Blah blah blah..

Well he couldn't have destroyed that much equipment if he was in the chase 2 years in a row.   Guys that destroy equipment are 35th in the standings.  Are you serious???   The only unfair advantage for Toyota to me has been Kyle Busch.

  24. I too do not like him but there is NO way you can justify saying that he is a bad driver.  You may not even like his driving style but he is immensely talented, even more so than his older brother.  If he ever learns to control his emotions and manage his races better he will win multiple championships.  Even though I do not care for him, I appreciate the added excitement that he brings to the table and the effort he puts into every lap of every race, regardless the series or type of car.  I do think he has the benefit of a better car than most of the field but you still have to drive it on the edge of wrecking, without crossing that line.  With extra horsepower it would be that much easier to drive it beyond the limits of the tires and handling.  In my opinion, nobody drives a looser race car better than he does, he has made some of the most incredible saves I have ever seen anyone make this year and he puts the larger COT into tighter spots than almost any other driver.

    3 STR8 N 08!!!

  25. thank you some one who thinks like me but i dont agree about the cheating i havent lied on this in awile and i think that a lie

  26. I think he is one h**l of a great race car driver  that's for sure. But like I have said before I don't like him and I never will but he can drive a car.

  27. He's a little puke cry baby.
