I say that becouse she really was innocent, she never commited any of those crimes... and besides if any one was commiting any crimes it was Henry, he was the one who went sleeping around with that freak Jane seymore. My Point is Anne Boleyn was innocent, King Henry VIII was not, if any one should have died it should have been him.

  1. No-no one did. But it was the king's way of getting what he wanted. That's why we need to defend democracy today!

  2. I do agree with you,

Some people say that she was a witch and put Henry under a love spell!  (I think that is really weird)

The reason being he executed her is that she just couldn't give him a son!

  3. I agree!

But actually i would say anne boleynwas more of a freak than jane seymore, coz she had 6 fingers!

  4. She didn't just die, she was judicially murdered on the King's orders.

  5. no but thats how the royals behave and get away with it

  6. Unfortunately it was ok for Kings to sleep around in those days - their Queens doing it was NOT acceptable.

I personally do not believe she actually did sleep with anyone else and he probably didn't think she did either. But he was in love with someone else and she had not bore him a son yet which he needed.

Another factor was that he had been attracted to her outspoken ways when he was wooing her, but once she was Queen she was expected to be obedient and do as she was told which she did not do.

  7. Had Elizabeth I been a boy, Anne Boleyn would not have been executed. It was Henry VIII who was desperate for a male heir and thought he wouldn't get one from Anne.

I don't agree with Faz M...what about child torturers and murderers who knowingly commit those crimes...they don't deserve to live!

  8. Hi, No i don't think she deserved to die, Henry made up an excuse to kill her so he could marry Jane Seymour. He even changed religion because the Catholic Church would not recognise a divorce.  You should read The Other Boleyn Girl, by Phillipa Gregory i found it an avid read, there was parts in it that slated Anne Boleyn but honest read it, it's great.

  9. She did not deserve to die;she was simply "in the way." Anne Boleyn committed no crimes. Henry VIII wanted male heirs and was willing to kill to beget them.

  10. What have you got against Jane Seymore?  Yes Anne Boleyn was innocent, but Henry was king and he was determined to have what he wanted

  11. two reallys in the one sentence....you really shouldn't do that

  12. They could do anything then, he was the King and his word was final, Fat Bas---d

  13. never mind love it was a long time ago ...its what comes from marrying a wife killer

  14. Well, none of her crimes were proved...

Anyway, if they were real, perhaps it was becouse Henry wasn't very manly satisfactorial.... so she wasn't guilty at all... It is very strange that his first 5 wives were killed, so I think there it was a complot....

    Happy New Year

  15. No, Henry VIII treated Anne Boleyn (and other wives) badly.  He desperately wanted a son and had tired of Anne Boleyn, so it was easy for him to be convinced that he was "doing the right thing" and she was "guilty".  Church sanctioned divorces can be a good thing for royals and commoners.

    best of luck to you!

  16. Ah, but HV111 was the boss and had the power. Of course AB was innocent of the charges trumped up against her but these were perilous times and many folk in high places went in daily fear of their heads being removed.

  17. no one deseves to die.

  18. Yes, she got what she deserved, the adulterous strumpet, Good on you Henry !

  19. Anne Boleyn was innocent of charges of adultery, incest and high treason. These charges were obviously fabricated either by Henry himself or along with his Privy Council members. She did not commit any of these crimes, however, it was her stubbornness and pride that caused her head.

Her downfall was not simply caused by the fact that she could not produce a male heir, there were many other factors that all contributed to her execution. Anne Boleyn was in fact, the most powerful person at court. She was “politically” active from religious issues to foreign affairs. She had considerable power over government appointments and political matters. Anne’s intervention meant that she had many enemies within the court and outside of England (Spain and Rome). Many political figures were anxious to get rid of her, her influence on the King and her role in court, caused a huge amount of dismay and discontent.

In addition, Anne's married life was stormy, the royal couple enjoyed periods of calm and affection, but Henry's frequent infidelities greatly upset his new wife, who reacted with tears and rage to each new mistress. She had a fierce temper and was not afraid to upset the King in private or in presence of others (which caused great embarrassment to the King).

If Anne lost favour simply because she could not produce a male heir (like many people have stated) he could have divorced her like he did with Catherine of Aragon. Obviously, what caused Anne’s downfall was a mix of Henry found Anne’s strident opinions about religion and politics irritating, and he saw her failure to give him a son as a betrayal, and her stubborn personality, her show of pride, the embarrassment of her outburst in public eyes etc, which finally caused her glory days to be cut short and finally her head on the scaffold.

  20. No-one deserves to die.

How can you be so sure that she was innocent? You were not around during her time. You can only go by what the historians  of her time said & I think todays press are the equlivalent so how honest is any of it?
