forgive me for being rude but i don't think its true. for the following reasons:

1. The flag was moving, flags don't move in space!!

2.Its not that easy to walk on the moon, he looked pretty carefree if u ask me!

3. can't think of one but i have to have a 3!!

  1. yes, i forgive you.

not for being rude, but for being downright ignorant and misinformed.

  2. Yawn...

This question is answered more than once per day.

The very simple answer is yes.

But if you want to research it further then I suggest you type the exact same question into the search for questions bar at the top of the page.

  3. No, but I have no doubt that NEIL Armstrong did so.

  4. You're not being rude....just misinformed...its common. 12 brave Americans walked on the moon.....the evidence is overwhelming:

Yes, it really happened. The fact that theres even a question is both an insult and a tribute to the hundreds of thousands of scientists, engineers, contracters, and sub contracters as well as the brave astronauts that made it all happen...(by the way, not ONE person has come forward to say it was faked.....cause it wasn't) .Evidence in Support of the Apollo Landings

It is difficult to summarise the evidence in support of the landings because there is so much of it. However the following points cover the main bodies of evidence:

    Moon Rocks

The most compelling evidence is the 382 kilograms of moon rocks brought back to Earth by the Apollo missions. These samples have been independently analysed by geologists from all over the world for more than thirty years. The conclusion is basically 100% unanimous - these rocks could not have originated on Earth and must have come from the moon.

Perhaps these rocks were brought back by robotic missions? Not possible - the technology was not available at the time.

What about moon rocks found in Antarctica? Finding 382 kilograms of diverse rocks - exactly the kind geologists would have chosen to study - seems somewhat unlikely.

    Film and Photographs

There is a massive repository of film and photographic evidence. Although many of the hoax theories attempt to discredit this evidence, none succeed. In any case the sheer volume of photographic evidence is staggering.

    Witnesses

At the peak of the Apollo programme, nearly half a million people were directly involved. Although most were far from mission control, it seems highly unlikely that a hoax could have been kept secret from them all. Notably, not one single employee has come forward with any credible hoax evidence.

    Laser Reflector

The Apollo 11 mission left a laser reflector at its landing site. This reflector has been used ever since to measure things such as the precise distance to the moon. Anyone with the correct equipment can use it.

    Russia

The Russians were watching the USA space programme like hawks and analysing everything the Americans did. If there was the slightest suggestion that a hoax was happening, the Russians would have been falling over themselves to tell the world about it.

    Future Plans

In January 2004 President Bush announced a new initiative to return to the moon, and called on other nations to become involved in the project. Why would he do this (especially the part about inviting other countries to participate) if the landings had been faked?

    Motive

Finally, did NASA actually have a motive to attempt a hoax? If not, the rest of the argument is irrelevant

  5. Smart cookie.

    What is more probable?

We went to the moon with less computer power than a modern digital watch, and we're going back again. Then to Mars. Then off to Zeta Reticuli!

  6. If you don't think astronauts really landed on the moon, surely you can find the sound stage where they simulated the event!

  7. 1.May be they were used some fans / other devices.

2.If cloning is possible, walking on the moon is not impossible.

  8. No thats what the goverment wants you to think

    its bs

dont believe everything they throw at you

    stay sharp !

  9. Yes.

Flag's may not move in space but the flag wasn't "in" space... it was on the moon!

How would you know how easy it was to walk on the moon?

(All videos I've seen show him moving quite slowly, probably because of that suit.)

  10. Hmm how do u know if the flags move or not in space....have you been up there..... i dont think so yea...lol

  11. Sister, read this:

  12. part of me says yes but the other part says no.  wish i knew the truth, but its a conspiracy.

  13. It's amazing I asked this question too here and the flack I get especially the ones who were involved with NASA and science programs who want to defend there position not because of whos right or telling the truth, but because they invested a lot of their lives and time into it. I don't think he did walk there. Number one the TV is so much propaganda and lies including the history books in school about our nation. When I asked my dad who won world war 2 and he said the United States. Well. nobody wins in any war to begin with, we were part of the western alliance and we met the Russians facing off in Germany. That war isn't over in fact there are groups still feuding to this day there, and now with Germany unified again, a great economic power, is a dangerous threat to world peace with the formation of the EU. Russia is very ancy thats why Germany was divided to keep the balance of power between East and West. The whole thing about the moon was our propaganda messages with the Soviets in the nuclear arms race to show them our rocketry capabalities. Yes, we have the rockets to get us in space, but i don't think we can scintifically do an Apollo mission in a short period of time. We didn't have the computers then to do it. Maybe today, but it would be way too expensive. The amount we spend on the shuttle is killing our budget. They used TV to promote that too with highlighted citizens on trips to show research being done, but theres no research. Just an excuse to have the program bring new communication satellites there. Who cares if bees can mate in space?

  14. I think not... there's no star

  15. Many other people have given you more than enough proof to show that we did indeed land a man on the moon.

    Here's one that I don't commonly see given to non-believers:  Apollo 13.

If, say, the moon landings were faked, so we could show our absolute dominance over the Soviet Union, they why would the government want to "fake" a failed moon landing?  To show that they can pretend to fix problems ion space?  Don't you think that if they faked the landings, they would have had all of then successful, as to show the Soviets that were can succeed over, and over, and over again?

On July 20, 1969, Neil Armstrong walked the moon.

  16. Forgive me for being rude, but all of your theories are terribly flawed.

    1. Flag wasn't moving first of all, it was crumpled, and a horizontal bar was holding it up.

    2. "He looked care free"? Its a low gravity environment!

    3. The fact you can't think of a third one weakens your argument even more.

Look, the moon landing was real. If there are any more ideas you would like to throw at me, please feel free, I will be here all night! And I could go to sleep happy knowing that I have showed someone that the moon landing was real.

If you want evidence here it is:

-It is not impssible to get to the moon, but impossible to fake. According to Brant, the light was so intense that no man made light could do what we see in the videos.

-We left laser reflectors on the moon that astronomers use today. Apollo did this during their landings on the moon.

    How about some ideas like:

Multiple shadows? Highly reflective lunar surface, lunar module, and space suites on the astronautes reflect the sun's light in many directions, thus giving the effect of multiple shadows.

Can't survive the Van Allen belts? Well, according to Dr. Van Allen they can. They went through them so quick that the only problem experienced was a minor loss in communications, which was soon restored. It only took them about 30 minutes to get through them.

Who was taping Armstrong getting off the lunar module? There was a camera attatched to the lunar module.

    Any more?

EDIT 2: Here's some more evidence:

-We were in a race to the moon with the Russians. If anyone was going to come out and say it was all a hoax, it would be the Russians, and not some guy in America. They were monitoring the radio transmissions, the video, and the pictures and studied them very carefully, to try to find a shred of evidence saying it was a hoax. They analyzed audio... everything. They would have been the first to say "HEY YOU CHEATED!!!"

-As Mark K said, we brought back kilograms of moon rocks. We analyzed them to death, mapping out every single little characteristic.

-The government can't keep Watergate a secret, how would they hide something like this?

    MORE THEORIES:

Why aren't there stars in the pictures? Simple, the highly reflective lunar surface mixed with the bad cameras back then didn't show as many stars as there could be otherwise. And if you look closely, you can see a bright stars in the picture.

Captain Awsome brings up a very good point. Very interesting prespective... I never thought of that but you are completely right. I will probably incorporate that idea into more of my answers about the moon landings.

  17. Showing an ignorance in science is probably fun for a person who lacks the intellect to comprehend technological achievements. It's just so much easier for an uneducated person to say that something does not exist than to attempt to understand how it came to be.

Just pretend that your cellphone works by some kind of magic. If you take it apart, you might suffer culture shock and we wouldn't want that to happen to you.

Enjoy your little bubble that you call your life and think very carefully before you decide to have children. A child's education depends upon its parent. Not just the school system. This is where your own parents failed.
