He was injured during the series in Australia. Since the injury got aggrevated, he could not play the series against South Africa. He is still not fully recovered and not fit.

Why do you doubt when he has said he is not fit? Why do you

think he would not have played in Mumbai for his team...

Players playing half fit has a long time injury problems. He has

played when he was not 100% fit and so did other Indian

players. This is the part I do not understand from Indian think

tank to play, players who are not 100% fit.

Any injured player should never play a game irrespective of how

important the match is. You can include them and take a risk

on long term injuries.
