  1. They were probably mixed race [like today's sudanese/egyptians or ancient phoenicians/near eastern groups etc ],they were a multiracial society, being in africa it is very unlikely that they had no african ancestry. One thing is for sure they were not from the germanic/northern european tribes of europe [from whom most "caucasians" from the british isles and the US descend] and it is as silly to hear their descendants in the us and elsewhere claim them as their own,as it is to hear some african americans.

  2. they were the same as the egyptians today, this can be confirmed by some of the diseases they suffered and died from.

  3. Some of the Pharaohs were Negroes and came from the upper kingdom.  Some were probably closer to Caucasian.

  4. They were Olived skinned like most of the arab nations are now.

There are full colour pictures of them in their tombs in the Valley of the Kings.

I have been in Tutenkharmuns tomb and seen them, they are amazing

  5. I think analysis has pretty much shown that the pharaohs were neither.  They were middle eastern and a lot less european at the time.  They also were not what we would call black African.  They have done DNA studies.  You should check them out.  Pretty incredible considering a few years ago it was impossible to even begin analyzing ancient DNA

  6. Probably, you can't tell by the art.

  7. Asian.//brown,  not black... I think.

  8. have you got a map of the world of course they were black african.

  9. You can't say that they are blacks.

  10. Depends on what part and when. Am I racist and think only the great famous leaders are white? No.

The early ones in Lower Egypt (it was what they called Northern Egypt) where lighter like those in the Middle east now. Upper Egypt's Pharaoh's where black. When they combined then it was mostly black Pharaohs.

  11. I know a black guy from the East End of Glasgow, he was born there, and as far as anyone I know is concerned, he is a Glaswegian, alway's has been, and that makes him a Jock.
