The Yankees would never even THINK about trading Cano. He has been doing amazingly good lately, and he has been getting base hits and a home run or 2 within the last 6 games. He is a hot hitter right now, and he's too important to the team.

The Yankees are still in the running for the AL Wild Card, and this might just be an off year for Cano. They are banged up with injuries and are relying on two veterans, two rookies, and some guy named Sidney Ponson to hold up their starting rotation. If anything, I'd see them trading Shelley Duncan or someone like that for a decent starting pitcher more than another outfielder.

No! Cano is young and still learning. He has the potential of being a great hitter. He has good range at second base and a strong throwing arm. Everything about him is positive. I can't see the Yankees dealing him away. It would be a big mistake if they did.

The last thing the Yankees management would do is give Cano to Joe Torre, specially after they way they parted company.

NO WAY would the Dodgers EVER give up Matt Kemp for a piece of garbage like Cano.

Matt Kemp has Hall of Fame written all over him - a 5 tool player who will be one of the top 5 players in the game for the next decade.

TO: Yanks08: spouting typical yankee garbage - for your information not only is Matt Kemp 2YEARS YOUNGER THAN CANO, he has more talent in his jock strap than Cano has in his entire yankee carcass

cano every year is worthless for the first half, then inches his average up to respectability during the second half.. the problem with that is he is very useless for half a season.. cant have that..we could of won alot more games with him performing during the first half..
