Do you really want to be an actress/actor??

Question

do you really really want to be an actress actor? and be really famous and stuff and like be a disney channel star or nickelodean etc.

are you like 13 years old or around there and are you trying to start out your acting career without little experience or alot??

answer yes or no.

because i just want to know how much people really want to be famous and how hard it would be to actually be a successful famous actress/singer.

Good evening young lady, not such a bad question, even for the very young. I suspect you can find hundreds of questions here asking "HOW CAN I?", by young teens.

No offense meant by the way, but so much of it involves those who LIKE the Glitz, Glamor, Press, Dollars, some romantic notions of what it CAN BE, and for a few, those things are true.

More of the truth however, is that beyond the fact that it should be a PASSION, it's also hard work, often tedious, often being rejected, and in that sense, can be disappointing. I'm not saying don't make the effort. I'm trying to be realistic in the sense of expectations, versus possibilities, and WAY TOO MUCH stardust in so many eyes.

I offer an analogy very fitting. "ANNIE" The song, "It's a Hard Knock Life".

Yes, of course I want to be a professional actress.

I really want to go to NIDA or WAAPA (the two best acting schools in Australia)

I am young, but I don't want to become an actress for the fame etc, I mean that would be an added bonus, but it's not what I strive for..I just want to act, because I love it and it's something that I could do every single day for the rest of my life. I would honestly act in movies etc for free.

Instead of "being famous" (which I think if people just want fame, and not to be acting..they should not do it..) I don't necasarily want that, but I just want to be "regonized" for being a great actress, with versitility, whether i'm regonized within the community, state, country, internationally wherever.

However that regonition comes.

i do! im pursuing a career as a proffesional actress/singer/dancer

i am working on getting an agent. and rich and fame sounds good but i would love fame more!

just to be that center of attention with millions of fans would e enough reward for me

and dont worry about competition if your dedicated then you will make sure you make your dream come true just lkike i am.

Iam 14 and iam trying to get into acting. I dont want to be with disney cuz i hate disney channel XD iam looking to get more into movies and stuff.
