Do you recommend Regal Rat Food?

Question

For my 2 females? Is it good food? Better than harlan? I also want to mix that with a mix but I dont know if i want to continue making my own because its very hard to get everything right. Is Reggie Rat a good mix (storebought) or Nutriphase? What do you feed your rats? Thanks!

I just give mine hamster food from Walmart.

reggie rats its the better 1 but u no that hamsters and mice also eat the same thing buy a bag and look at the bits inside there all the same anyway get some small bags of each type and mix them together i do they love it. like REGGIE RAT , HARRY HAMSTER and SOME FRUIT like carrot lettuce ect

I would reccomend Fiesta more.

I highly recommend Regal Rat! Yes, it is better than Harlan Teklad since it has higher quality ingredients (no corn for one!). Reggie Rat and Nutriphase are poor quality diets like most pet store diets. Honestly, Regal Rat is the only commercial diet I'd ever recommend.

Regal Rat is complete on it's own so you shouldn't mix it with another complete diet or you'll be feeding too much protein and fat.
