Do you recommend any villas to stay in Siena that are within walking distance of the city?

like another answerer, i do not have personal experience in siena with lodging, but i did have experience with this site http://www.villavacations.com and it was easy that i would definately use them again.  we used their services for a place in spoleto, umbria and loved it!  the people who run the site/service were helpful and the people who run the villa we stayed at were super nice.  best of luck with your search!

I born in Tuscany near Siena. Now I live in Milan but I can give some information about.....

in the nearest of Siena there are a lot of camping where you can sleep.

There are also a lot of Agriturismo but they are very expensive and if you do not have money is better stay away from them.

If you go in Siena go to visit San Gimignano that is an ancient town 50 km far and it is wonderful
